Disney has Announced Tinker Bell Legend of the Neverbeast for 2015


Disney has announced that in the spring of 2015 they will release an all new Tinker Bell movie called Legend of the Neverbeast (also referred to as Tinker Bell: Legend of the NeverBeast)! This movie will feature Fawn, the Animal Fairy, and her friendship with the NeverBeast.

    Fun and talented animal fairy Fawn believes you can’’t judge a book by its cover—, or an animal by its fangs, —so she befriends a huge and mysterious creature known as the NeverBeast.
    While Tink and her best friends aren’’t so sure about this scary addition to Pixie Hollow, the elite Scout Fairies set out to capture the monster before he destroys their home. Fawn must trust her heart and take a leap of faith if she hopes to rally the girls to save the NeverBeast http://disney.wikia.com

Free 4th of July Disney Recipes

4th of July recipes
I can almost smell the BBQ as July 4th gets closer and closer. makes my mouth water for all the delicious food that will be served at my house. Of course I have to prepare it first.

This year I am doing something different and actually having a Disney theme with my 4th of July preparations. Earlier I posted several printables featuring our favorite Disney Characters (click here to see them), now I think it is important to share a few recipes that will make it worth while :D.
The recipes I have posted below are some of my favorites. Add a recipe tag next to the items on the table to Display the name of each recipe.

These recipes are free to use and enjoy!

SKGaleana’s Mickey Mouse Cucumber Sandwiches
The Mickey Mouse Cucumber sandwich is my personal recipe. I think that just a touch of garlic makes the cream cheese mixture stand out. The sandwich can be made by cutting the bread into the mickey shapes than assembling the ingredients or assemble the sandwich and cut out the shapes. With the cookie cutter it is easier to assemble and then cut. 🙂
Ingredients:
Directions

  • 1 loaf of sliced sourdough bread (or a bread of your choice)
  • 2 cucumbers, peeled and sliced into disks
  • 1 package of Cream cheese (8 oz), Softened
  • 1/2 cup of homemade Mayo
  • 1 tsp garlic
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • Mickey Ears Cookie cutter or Mickey template

    		•  1. Mix together Cream cheese, mayo, garlic, salt and pepper until well blended.
    2. Place a layer of the cream cheese mixture on a slice of bread.
    3. Place A layer of cucumbers on top.
    4. Place a slice of bread on top of the cucumbers.
    5. Using the cookie cutter or the template, cut out a few mickey mouse shapes

    SKGaleana’s Tarzan Skewers
    These skewers require no cooking. Simply pick out your favorite fruits and stick them on a skewer. They make wonderful fresh snacks
    Ingredients:
    Directions

  • 1 Pineapple
  • 1 Cantaloupe
  • 1 medium size Watermelon
  • 1 bag of grapes
  • 1 Honeydew
  • Strawberries, with stem removed
  • Any other fruits you would like to add or change
  • Skewers

    		•  1. Slice and chop Pineapple, Cantaloupe, Watermelon and Honeydew into 1-2 inch cubes
    2. Slide Each fruit onto the skewer one at a time

    Ariel’s Red-White-and-Blue Starfish Cookies

    Ingredients:
    Directions

  • Ariel’s Red-White-and-Blue Starfish Cookie Template
  • Scissors
  • Batch of chilled sugar cookie dough (homemade or store-bought)
  • Rolling pin
  • Flour
  • Wax paper
  • Baking sheets
  • Cooling rack
  • Kitchen knife
  • Cookie icing (red and blue)
  • White sugar pearls (found in the baking aisle of the grocery or craft stores) or similar-looking small white candies

    		•  1. Print the template and cut out the starfish shape.
    2. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to 1/4-inch thickness. Use the template and a knife to cut out a bunch of starfish shapes from the cookie dough. Bake the cookie cutouts according to the recipe directions and let them cool.
    3. Working with one starfish cookie at a time, frost the surface with red or blue icing. Then press a line of white sugar pearls or white candies into the icing forming a line in the center of each of the starfish arms. Let the icing set up before serving

    Elsa’s Frozen Icecream

    Ingredients:
    Directions

  • Ice cubes (enough to fill each gallon-size bag about half full)
  • 1 cup half and half
  • 1/2 cup salt (The bigger the granules, the better. Kosher or rock salt works best, but table salt is fine.)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pint-size ziplock bag
  • 1 gallon-size ziplock bag
  • Your favorite mixins such as chocolate chips, cereal pieces, or fresh fruit.

    		•  1. Combine the sugar, half and half, and vanilla extract in the pint-size bag and seal it tightly.
    2. Place the salt and ice in the gallon-size bag, then place the sealed smaller bag inside as well. Seal the larger bag. Now shake the bags until the mixture hardens (about 5 minutes). Feel the small bag to determine when it’s done.
    3. Take the smaller bag out of the larger one, add mix-ins, and eat the ice cream right out of the bag. Easy cleanup too!

    4th of July Disney Printables, Activities and Party Supplies

    Disney 4th of July printables
    4th of July is just around the corner and many are getting ready for the parades, BBQs and fireworks. The streets get covered in red, white and blue and the citizens of the USA celebrate our independence day. Decorations feature the American flag or the stars and stripes that signify our freedom.

    For Disney fans, we look for decorations that feature our favorite characters in the American ensemble. Trust me, this search can be more difficult than it sounds. Try searching for a 4th of July Disney table cover and then search for matching paper plates. These items are almost nonexistent. That’s why when I saw Spoonful.com’s 4th of July feature, I had to share!

    Spoonful.com has featured several printable decorations and party supplies sporting some of our favorite Disney characters such as Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Donald. While finding a table cover with these characters may be next to impossible, We are now capable of decorating the table with a few Disney characters. I am so excited to actually complete my Disney 4th of July Theme.     ‘TATER TRAVEL TIP #1: MAKE A LIST!
    Mr. Potato Head can be a klutz when it comes to packing, which is why Mrs. Potato Head loves to make a list of packing essentials for their vacation needs. It’s a good idea for the sweet potato to start planning her list weeks before the traveling ‘taters head off on their journey. By planning so far in advance, you are much less likely to miss off any travel necessities!

    ‘TATER TRAVEL TIP #2: ROLL UP, ROLL UP!
    Who wants to iron an outfit when you reach your destination? Mr. Potato Head doesn’t, that’s for sure! Instead of folding your clothes and placing them in your suitcase, try rolling them. Tightly rolled clothes are less likely to get heavy wrinkles from fold creases and they take up less room.

    ‘TATER TRAVEL TIP #3: PACK LIGHTLY!
    Nobody wants to be weighed down with heavy baggage, especially if you’re a tourist ‘tater who wants to wander around with ease. That’s exactly why Mrs. Potato Head suggests everybody packs lightly. Pack layers of clothing that you can easily put on or take off. And think twice about adding that spare pair of shoes to your luggage. Do you really need them?

    ‘TATER TRAVEL TIP #4: KNOW THE RULES!
    Mrs. Potato Head is a stickler for the rules. Get to know them all before you travel, especially if you’re flying! If your journey involves an airplane ride, make sure you pack correctly and don’t place any large liquids (such as a regular-sized bottle of perfume or a can of hairspray) in your carry-on luggage. All liquids brought onto planes must be in 3.4-ounce bottles or smaller. And they must all be placed inside a single, clear, quart-size zip-top bag.

    ‘TATER TRAVEL TIP #5: CARRY-ON VALUABLES…
    What would Mr. Potato Head do without his trusty bowler hat and his angry eyes? Well, every now and then luggage gets delayed or lost – and that’s exactly why it’s a good idea to pack your travel essentials and valuables in your carry-on bag. Never put them in your checked luggage! Make sure your ID, passport, keys, money, credit cards, jewelry and electronics are safe and secure in your carry-on bag, as well as items like extra contact lenses and a spare pair of undies.     Don’t be a couch potato on your summer vacation; head outside and explore. When you’re packing your bags, make sure you’ve got comfortable shoes in your luggage. Nobody wants sore tootsies!

    “And your angry eyes, just in case!”
    Who wants to get angry-eyed in the blazing sunshine? Nobody! That’s why it’s important to pack your sunglasses. If your eyes need some extra help, don’t forget to take your spectacles and contact lenses, too.

    “A dime!”
    A few dollars will certainly help ease your summer vacation needs. It also helps to have a credit card for any unexpected incidentals, as well as the purchase of the odd souvenir or two. See if you can seek out a bargain!

    “Cheese puffs!”
    Don’t forget to pack some snacks for the journey. If you’re a picky eater, it might be wise to add a few of your favorite munchies to your suitcase to ensure you’ve got lots of treats to eat while you’re away, too. Mmmm!

    “A spare set of lips!”
    Mr. Potato Head can swap his lips with a spare set if they become chapped or sore in the sizzling sunshine. Non-spuds can’t do that, which is why it’s a good idea to pack some lip balm for your travels. Pucker up!

    “A key!”
    It’s always a good idea to keep all your essentials together in one place, including your keys, money, ID and passport. Be a safe spud on your travels; don’t be a loser this summer!

    “Sunscreen!”
    Never forget to apply sunscreen in the scorching summer sun… Or, you’ll end up baked!

    How To Train Your Dragon 2 Hiccup Teddy Bear Cubeecraft and Toothless Puppet

    Hiccup from How To Train Your Dragon 2 is now a cubeecraft teddy bear!! He comes with a Toothless Puppet so that they are never apart!

    About How to Train Your Dragon 2:

    It has been five years since Hiccup and Toothless successfully united dragons and vikings on the island of berk. While Astrid, Snotlout and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island’s new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious dragon rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect peace. Now, Hiccup and Toothless must unite to stand up for what they believe while recognizing that only together do they have the power to change the future for both men and dragons.

    o Build the Cubeecraft:
    Materials needed:
    Printer
    Card stock
    scissors
    craft knife

    To make:

    1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
    2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife
    3. Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife
    4. Cut along the white by the ears and the white around the hair
    5. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet
    6. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
    7. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
    8. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.
      Hiccup is now complete

    To Build the Toothless Puppet:

    1. Cut out toothless around the outer black boarder. Be sure to keep the tip of the ear attached.
    2. Fold along the tip of the ear so that the backs of toothless come together, color side facing out.
    3. Fold the base along the solid line so that the green lays on the table like a stand.
      Toothless is now complete
