I received the opportunity to review this collection and here is what I thought.
When the Nick Jr. Spring is Here! DVD arrived in the mail, the bright colors and fan favorite characters attracted the whole family! Because this is a collection of shows, there is something for everyone. Have a PAW Patrol fan? There are two episodes featuring our favorite lovable pups hopping into action to save the Adventure Bay Easter Festival. Need a little Blue’s Clues and You! interaction? There are two episodes featuring Blue and her friends where fans can learn about the seasons and how everything grows in different ways, like fruits, and vegetables, We also get a Baby Shark’s Big Show episode and a Blaze and the Monster Machine episode.

I think one of my favorite episodes of the whole collection is when the PAW Patrol had to chase down a bunch of bunnies in PAW Patrol: Pups Save a Magic Trick. When a magic trick gets messed up, the pups must collect a whole lot of bunnies around town It is fun to watch how the pups problem solve and use teamwork to round them all up.
Blaze is collecting his Easter Eggs
Of course, continuing with the Easter theme, Blaze and the Monster Machines have their own episode featuring a race to collect 100 easter eggs in Blaze and The Monster Machines: The 100 Egg Challenge. In this episode, the first truck to collect 100 eggs wins a chocolate trophy. Blaze is confidant that he can win with the help of AJ and the audience. But can Blaze beat Crusher who is determined to win that delicious chocolate trophy? Fans will just have to watch, help, and see how Blaze does.
With so much spring time fun, wonderful fan favorites, and brilliant colors and characters, I give Nick Jr. Spring is Here episode collection 5 stars! There is something for everyone in this DVD!

My family received a special way to celebrate the new DVD release with an amazing Blue’s Clues and You! mailer. Inside was everything we needed to throw a watch party: snacks and the DVD!
I think, what I like most about this mailer is that it gave my family a new food to try. It isn’t every day we run into Ube Crinkle Cookies (these cookies were supplied by Calajo Catering in LA).
Of course, before anyone could have a taste, I had to figure out what is Ube. For all you who are just as confused, here is what I found. Ube is a purple yam that is native to the Philippines. It isn’t a sweet potato but it has many attributes like one. It is often used in desserts or eaten with a lot of butter. The deep purple appearance is natural.
After my quick search, I opened the package and I tasted one. Absolutely delicious! And because the snack is technically a cookie, everyone in my house was willing to try them. The deep purple color was a little weird for Stormy, Before she took a bite, she sniffed the cookie. Let me be clear, she is not a dog. She must have learned this skill from our puppies.
In the end, everyone had a teste. We all loved them and wanted more! Now I need to learn how to make an Ube Crinkle Cookie and figure out where, in my town, I can find Ube.
Thankfully the internet isn’t far away and almost every recipe exists in that digital world. With just a couple of clicks I found a recipe that looks just like the ones provided in the Blue’s Clues and You! mailer. One of the most popular characters from Disney’s movie, Encanto (affiliate link), is Mirabel’s older sister, Luisa. Blessed with the gift of strength, she’s the strong one, she’s not nervous, she’s as strong as the Earth is. Luisa does everything she can to matter and make her family proud. Based on the comic book, “The Secret Service” by Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, comes the the story about classy old-school spies and their ability to save the world. I received the chance to watch The King’s Man, and here is what I thought.

Unlike the first two Kingsman movies, The King’s Man goes a little darker and focuses more on history and story than on action. Some of these scenes can be a bit dull, but for the most part, the entire movie is highly entertaining. We have several amazing fight scenes with swords, fun characters, and great dialog. The choreography of the fight scenes is equal to , if not better than, the previous movies and they certainly keep my attention.
The movie starts in dark times when Orlando, Duke of Oxford, loses his wife, Emily, in a sniper attack. It’s a heartbreaking scene as Emily makes him promise that their son will never see the war again. Fast-forward 12 years and we find that Orlando is creating a spy network, which is dedicated to protecting the United Kingdom, and Shola and Polly are among the recruited.

The King’s Man is rated R for a reason, there are a lot of violent moments, that are not suitable for even some adults. After all this is a story of a spy network looking to prevent a war that would cause the death of millions. We often see Shola fighting off some rather crazy individuals.
From violent to crazy, the characters in The King’s Man are all very well done, but I have to admit, Rasputin is the craziest of them all. As bad guys go, he is my favorite bad guy in The King’s Man.. His fight scenes are way over the top and they are simply fun to watch. When Rasputin says, “Time to dance…on your graves,” this is not a suggestion, he begins the must epic dance fight I have seen since Jumanji 2. With swords and amazing dance moves, Rasputin turns himself into a crazy and immediate threat. He is also quite graceful, just look at his beautiful jump.
From start to finish, The King’s Man kept my attention and provided some amazing never-before-seen fight scenes. I really enjoyed the story, the character development, and the over-the-top bad guys, i.e. Rasputin. The King’s Man, by choreography alone, has earned five starts in my book and a must see for Kingsman fans.

Disney has released a highly popular film featuring a very special family with a very special house in a very special location. Let’s just say everything in Encanto is special. After losing her husband, Abuela received a miracle. This miracle gave her a home with a personality, safety from invaders, and a great place to raise her three kids, Julieta, Pepa, and Bruno. Once her children reached a certain age, they were given a power and a huge magical bedroom. Once they grew up and had kids of their own, their children also received special powers and a large bedroom, that is, all except Mirabel.

With so many characters and so many colors, I thought it would be fun creating some adorable Cubeecrafts featuring the Family Madrigal. My Cubeecraft adventure starts with Mirabel. She is the main character of the film and has one of the most intricate costumes ever. Let me just say…liberties were taken. I did my best to keep to the film and her amazing colorful dress, but there is a lot of designs. I made sure to get the rainbow, the butterfly, and of course the tassels. The rest of the designs are inspired by her dress to the best of my ability. Hopefully everyone loves it.
