Pony Life Printable Pony PlayDate Activities

Hasbro has a cute series called Pony Life, featuring the Mane 6 from the My Little Pony collection! I discovered this adorable series from a television ad where Pinkie Pie was trying a snack and her face started turning all different colors. It was absolutely adorable! I had to check it out and see what Hasbro may have to celebrate this new-ish series. Hasbro usually doesn’t disappoint.

The search was short and sweet. On the official Hasbro My Little Pony Site, there is a great collection of My Little Pony printable coloring pages and activities. Right at the top of their printable collection is the Pony Life Playdate Activity. This Playdate Activity features coloring pages, party decorations, recipes, and more. I knew my family and I would love these activities so I downloaded the PDF.

Here is where it gets weird; the printable pages have missing images. In the original printable pack Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Twilight Sparkle are missing from the coloring pages and Twilight Sparkle is missing from the Photo Props. They are obviously supposed to be there because there are gaps of where they should be. I figured I could fix the missing images by drawing the coloring pages myself. However, when I placed the pages into my photo editor, all the missing images magically appeared. I figured, since this is the case, I would form a new printable pack and post it here featuring the entire collection of characters: Rarity, Fluttershy, Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, and Applejack.

Hopefully the weird magically disappearing ponies will remain in their designated locations and become fun printable activities. If they disappear, please let me know. It is sort of fascinating that such a weird error would exist…at least it is fascinating to me hahaha.

A Printable Coloring Page of Suzani from The Princess Palace Pets

With the cancelation of Princess Palace Pets, there are a few palace pets that were never released. Suzani is one of those unfortunate casualties. However, she is still an adorable blue puppy that deserves her time in the sun. Thanks to a small random image of a possible Suzani toy, I was able to form a SKGaleana Palace Pet image and coloring page.

The Suzani picture I used to create the coloring page is a side view of a toy that never made it to development. The picture is somewhat hard to read but I was up to the challenge. From this small image, I was able to create what I think the Palace Pet would look like. The tiara and accessories are all a small guess based on this image. Because Suzani was never released in the Princess Palace Pet show, stories, or on Disney’s website, she is not canon, however, she is still absolutely adorable. Feel free to download the coloring page and enjoy this almost released Princess Palace Pet.

Suzani is Jasmine’s Princess Palace Pet Puppy. Suzani has blue fur with purple ears and a purple tail. Her accessories are gold and are very similar to the jewelry that Jasmine wears in the movie, Aladdin.

Suzani was a gift to Jasmine from Aladdin on their anniversary.

Blue’s Clues and You! Blue and Magenta Deviled Eggs – Recipe

Easter is this Sunday! Time to boil eggs, host an Easter Egg Hunt, and get a basket from the Easter Bunny. There are also Deviled Eggs, Egg salad sandwiches, and other egg-tastic recipes we all love to eat. This year, thanks to Nickelodeon, we can add a little color to all our egg recipes with the help of Blue and Magenta from Blue’s Clues and You! (affiliate link).

While this recipe can be used to color eggs in any recipe (imagine a pink and blue egg salad sandwich), this specific recipe is for Blue and Magenta Deviled Eggs. Deviled Eggs are delicious treats but they are also very repetitive with the standard clump of yellow mash on a white egg. By following some simple instructions and adding a bit of food dye, our Deviled Eggs go from a boring snack to a pink and blue party. Use a piping bag to create paw prints and our treats become a Blue’s Clue.

Here are the items and ingredients we will need to make these Blue and Magenta Deviled Eggs:

  • 6 Hard boiled eggs
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • Pinch of salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cold water
  • Food Coloring, blue and pink
  • 2 icing bags
  • 2 medium round icing tips
  • wax paper
  • Slotted spoon
  • 2 coffee mugs

Sometimes boiling an egg takes some weird special skill and almost magic like calculations. It took me a while to find that perfect ‘goldilocks zone’ to cook the best hardboiled eggs. This is how I get mine nearly perfect each time. Of course there are days where the stove dislikes me, and/or the eggs dislike me, and/or the water dislikes me. No matter what I do, the eggs still will not do as they are told. On those days, I take a break and refuse to let a little old egg ruin my day. Scrambled is just as good as hardboiled. hahaha

How to boil eggs:

  1. Place 6 eggs in a small pot and fill the pot with water until the eggs are covered.
  2. Heat the water to a boil.
  3. Once the water starts to boil, set the timer to 10 min.
  4. After the 10 minutes are up, remove the pot from the heat.
  5. Let the eggs sit in the hot water for another 10 min.
  6. Rinse with cold water and let cool.

A Printable Coloring Page of Glimmer from The Princess Palace Pets

The cat’s ‘meow’ certainly has to be Glimmer from the Princess Palace Pets. Her dark purple stripes, light purple fur, and red accessories all sparkle with a beautiful glimmer. Of course, being one of Tiana’s Princess Palace Pets, Glimmer also features a lily pad on her tiara and a green gem on her collar/necklace.

Since she never received an official story before Disney cancelled the franchise, we can only guess about her character. I like to think she is a clean freak, always making sure the area around her is perfectly spotless with that new clean shine. She loves to help Tiana in the kitchen, making sure the food taste divine. However, even with her need for perfection, Glimmer is also a fun loving kitten that will attend bayou concerts, chase fluffy toys, and even get into a bit of mischief when no one is looking.

Glimmer’s Story (written by Marissa Grubbs, an avid Palace Pet fan):
Glimmer met Tiana at the Firefly Music Festival in the bayou when she was surrounded by a lot of fireflies. They flitted around her, making pretty designs with their blinking lights. Tiana invited the tabby cat to come and join her during the festival. Glimmer jumped into Tiana’s arms as if she was saying “yes”

Basically, it is an egg shell filled with small bits of confetti that can be cracked open in an explosion of colors. Simply pick your bending element (Earth, Air, Fire, or Water), dye the egg with the corresponding color, fill with confetti, and let the celebrations begin!

To make this craft you will need:

  • Eggs
  • Egg Dye or Food Coloring
  • Paper Confetti
  • Tissue Paper
  • White Glue
  • Scissors
  • Green, Red, Blue, and Light Blue Paint Pens

This year, fans get to celebrate Easter with a fun Bubble Guppies Easter Craft. Thanks to the ‘DIY’ portion of the craft we can learn how to dye eggs using bubbles! Plus, after the eggs dry, we can then decorate them with the cute printable Bubble Guppies egg wraps.

To dye the eggs using bubbles you will need:

  • Hard-boiled eggs
  • Cups
  • Liquid food color
  • Egg dipper or spoon
  • Straw
  • Dish Soap
  • Paper towels

The fun part of this craft is when you place the straw in the cup and blow to make colorful bubbles! TIP: place newspaper underneath the crafting area. Food coloring will be going everywhere. I would also put the kids in an old shirt, one you don’t mind becoming a rainbow of colors.

PAW Patrol’s Newest DVD Release is Dino-tastic!

Get ready for all new dino rescue episodes in Nickelodeons newest DVD, PAW Patrol: Dino Rescue Roar to the Rescue. The pups return to the wilds and reunite with their prehistoric friends as they help save the dinosaurs from impending doom or mishaps. With seven full episodes and six original short episodes, this dino-tastic DVD features over two hours of PAW Patrol adventures! PAW Patrol: Dino Rescue Roar to the Rescue is coming to DVD March 23, 2021.

I received a chance to review the DVD and here is what I thought. All opinions are 100% my own.

I love PAW Patrol. This series encourages teamwork, the helping and caring for others, and problem solving skills. Many of the episodes present a problem and show how the pups rescue those in trouble by working together and solving the disastrous situation. For example, in ‘Dino Rescue: Pups Save a Sore Dino,’ a Tyrannosaurus Rex has a branch stuck in his teeth causing him pain. Ryder, Chase, Marshall, Skye, Rocky, Rubble, and other PAW Patrol pups all pitch in by working together to come up with a solution to remove the branch from the large carnivore teeth and stop the pain.

If it isn’t T-Rex and his sore mouth creating chaos, it’s crazy cats, a selfish mayor, or accidental robot malfunctions. However, thanks to PAW Patrol, all of the problems they encounter have solutions. The latest DVD to come from Nickelodeon and SPIN Master, PAW Patrol: Dino Rescue Roar to the Rescue, continues to share these morals and lessons, which provides fans with a trustworthy collection of dino-tastic fun.

PAW Patrol: Dino Rescue Roar to the Rescue contains seven full episodes, three of which feature dinosaurs. I will admit, with the the title of the DVD being ‘Dino Rescues’, I thought the whole episode collection would feature dinosaurs, But less than half of the full episodes contained dino escapades. It was a little disappointing, however that doesn’t mean that the other four episodes weren’t enjoyable; they simply lacked in the Dino Rescue theme.

The three dino episodes included in the DVD are:

  • Dino Rescue: Pups Save a Hum-Dino
  • Dino Rescue: Pups Save a Sore Dino
  • Dino Rescue: Pups Save the Triceratops Tag-Alongs

The four other episodes feature robots, birds, racing, and pie. These episodes are:

  • Pups Save a Waiter Bot
  • Pups Stop a Pie-Clone
  • Pups Save the Big Bad Bird Crew
  • Pups Save a Soapbox Derby

Here comes what I consider to be the gem in the DVD. PAW Patrol: Dino Rescue Roar to the Rescue contains six Original Short episodes all featuring dino rescues! These episodes showcase Velociraptors, Stegosaurus’, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Triceratops, Pterodactyls, and more! In each of these episodes The PAW Patrol pups go on missions to save and help each of these dinosaurs, whether it be rescuing Velociraptors eggs or throwing a T-Rex birthday party.. The original shorts included are:

  • Pups Save a Tromping Triceratops
  • Pups Save a Baby Stegosaurus
  • Pups Save a Dino Christmas
  • Pups Save a Pterodactyl Egg
  • Pups Save the Baby Raptors
  • Pups Save a Tyrannosaurus’ Birthday

My favorite Original Short has to be, “Pups Save the Baby Raptors.” I think the baby raptors are so adorable…Yes, I do base my likes on how cute I find the dinosaurs.

These original shorts definitely make up for the fact that four of the seven full PAW Patrol episodes are not dino related. In fact, I am giving this DVD 5 stars because of these wonderfully adorable shorts. I mean look at that picture above. How can anyone not like baby raptors?!?

Fast and Furious Spy Racers and Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous Get Another Season!

April and May are gonna be epic for fans of Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Fast & Furious: Spy Racer with the announcements that there will be another season of each this Spring! From Isla Nublar to Mexico City, the adventures are never-ending.

From Universal and DreamWorks Animation, season four of Netflix’s original series Fast & Furious: Spy Racers follows the crew on a mission to Mexico City. Framed for a crime they didn’t commit, the Spy Racers and Ms. Nowhere embark on a perilous mission to prove their innocence. Their only problem is that there is an unstoppable super-agent bent on bringing their team in to face justice. Check out the trailer below and get ready for the race of a life time.

Season 4 will be released April 16, 2021 and will feature 8 episodes that are 22 minutes.

DreamWorks Animation’s Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous will return for a third season on Netflix May 21, 2021. After cutting the power to everything in Jurassic World, the campers have a new, sinister threat deal with. The Indominus Rex, Baryonyx, and random flocks Pterodactyls may be the least of their worries when whatever is in Doctor Wu’s lab thaws and starts wrecking havoc on the island. Check out the trailer below and get ready for the thrilling new season!
