Star Wars: The Last Jedi is packaged several ways to ensure fans get the most out of their in-home viewing experience. Mulan’s newest pet is an adorable Red Panda named Chai! However, although he is a Red Panda, his coloring is actually a fuchsia pink, which can be a little strange or confusing. We’ll just say Chai is a Pink “Red Panda.”

Chai features dark pink stripes along his tail and he has patches of white on his ears, face and belly. unlike many palace pets, Chai doesn;t appear to wear any Jewelry. He has, however, been seen with a hat.

Chinese New Year is tomorrow! It is the year of the Dog! Woof.

Being that I am not familiar with what exactly “the year of the Dog” means, I had to go to https://chinesenewyear2018.com to read all about it. After I scored big by grabbing the “5-Minute Stories Strike Back” book from Sam’s Club for half off due to their massive closure, I promised a review of the said book. This, well this is that review.

I will admit, I bought 5-Minute Stories Strike Back for three reasons. One: It is Star Wars related and I gravitate towards all things Star Wars. Two: I was at Sam’s Club and everything was 50% off, so it was basically the deal seeking shopper in me demanding I buy a book. Three: It is 5-minute stories. These types of stories are perfect for a quick Star Wars fix, reading as Bedtime stories, or a quick story to pass the time with the family to encourage reading. The last one, I would say is the most important.

The stories of these galactic adventures have captured the imagination of an all new generation. With the popularity of Star Wars at an all time sky high, every kid I know recognizes the sound of a lightsaber. We have seen it in many YouTube videos where kids have their very own “laser sword” battles.

The hardcover of the book is made of thick cardboard with a nice cushion-like cover. This makes the cover thick, durable, and somewhat soft, however, I wouldn’t use it as a pillow. Although with 184 pages, it is almost big enough to be a pillow. 🙂 The pages are thick making them durable as well, which is a plus when kids will be wanting to turn the pages themselves to see the next image or scene.

5-Minute Stories Strike Back has a suggested retail price of $12.99 US, which is amazing for this size of book. 5-Minute Stories Strike Back is meant for children 3 and up. That means us adults can enjoy it as well…we are included in that “up” part.

With amazing stories from all 8 main Star Wars films, a beautiful cushion cover and thick pages, and an amazing price, 5-Minute Stories Strike Back deserves a 5-star review.

The Adventures of Puss in Boots is coming back to Netflix with all new episodes! Let’s welcome Season 6! With the portal to the Netherworld blocked and everyone returning home, the group of Puss, Dulcinea, Artephius, Toby, and Puss in Boots’ horse hope to finally have some peace. However, upon their return to San Lorenzo, they find that all is not well. Shockingly, each of them discover their own grave decorated with dead flowers.

I am hoping Season 6 will start where we left off as our group of heroes try to discover why everyone thinks they are dead. Could Evil Puss have anything to do with this? Check out Season 6 on Netflix January 26th to find out!

I love it when a little surprise fall into my lap! For example, I just grabbed the Star Wars Book: 5-Minute Stories Strike Back from Sam’s Club. Normally, this wouldn’t be any kind of news for a Star Wars fan such as myself, but as it turns out, the Sam’s clubs here are all closing down. Out of the 63 stores closing their doors, it just so happens that the three nearest me are closing. It is a very sad day for all the Sam’s Club members. Well, maybe not a sad day.

I didn’t really see any tears shed at the thought of all these Sam’s Club stores closing. Instead, there were lines of people waiting to get into the store to take advantage of the 50% off store wide sale. While I was not crazy enough to stand in line for hours just to buy anything I could find, I did manage to get inside toward the end of the weekend sale and see what was left.

At first, upon entering the store, it looked like an empty warehouse with just a few tables of items. The employees were condensing everything to get it all sold. The freezer section was filled with case boxes of buns, cake icing, uncooked donuts, and other bakery goods. The dog food isle had just a few bags of food left and some canned goods. And the grocery section had powdered sugar, candies, some pork and beans, and nuts. The whole place was pretty much picked clean. I really didn’t expect to find anything I wanted or needed.

However, there was a stack of pallets put together to make a table at the far end of the warehouse (the zoomed picture is above), and upon this table were stacks of books. Imagine my surprise when I spied the Star Wars book 5-minute Stories Strike Back, which features stories from all 8 Star Wars Movies! I mean, this book was recently released! Talk about the nicest surprise ever! Of course, I had to buy the book and take advantage of the 50% off. I know everyone in the house (including myself) will love these stories. 🙂

I ended my final shopping experience at my local Sam’s Club with a galactic bang. So, while I am saying goodbye to the Sam’s Clubs in my town, I am welcoming a wonderful book. Thank You Sam’s Club!
