Free Coloring Page featuring Summer from Disney’s Princess Palace Pets

Rapunzel has a large amount of palace pets, from an adorable pony to a cute little Kitten. In fact, the kitten she has is named Summer. She is a yellowish kitten with blond hair, green eyes, and a pink bow. Like Rapunzel, she wears flowers in her hair.

Summer’s story is a little more dark than most Palace Pet stories. She was obviously a stray, alone and cold with disheveled fur and dirty from living on the streets. It’s sad to think she had been alone and hungry. When Rapunzel found her, she took the kitten in rescuing Summer and treating her to all the wonderful things life has to offer.

Summer’s Story:
When Rapunzel found this kitten, she looked matted and dirty, but she knew what she needed: a home and pampering time at the Royal Beauty Salon! Summer and Rapunzel love to walk together in the meadows.

Descendants 2 Gives a Glimpse of Social Problems


There are so many ways to be wicked and in the all new Disney Movie Descendants 2, fans learn just how many ways there possibly are to be wicked. Descendants 2 in now available on Disney DVD and Digital with all its epic wickedness combined into one epic story.

The Descendants 2 continues where Descendants left off. We have a group of teenage rebels that have began a new life in the city of Auradon away from their villainous parents. Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay continue their journey as they learn what it means to be good and make a life of their own choices. Unfortunately, Mal isn’t finding the transition as simple as she would have hoped. The constant pressure to be something different leads to a near mental breakdown causing her to run back to the Isle of the Lost.

While I wouldn’t say that this is the most epic of sequels, I do think that Descendants 2 is a wonderful musical with a great story. The themes touch on many social problems we face in life today. For example, one such theme is the way many sports still have trouble allowing a woman to play professionally on the same team as men. We still have yet to see a women on an NFL team.

Descendants 2 gives us a glimpse of the subject of women joining professional sports when Lonnie, the daughter of Fa Mulan, wishes to join Fencing. However, according to the archaic law, “section 2 paragraph 3 eleven dash four: a team will be comprised of a captain and 8 men.” Of course, like Mulan, Lonnie doesn’t give up easily, and with the help of Jay, she transforms the sport forever. Let me just say, the way it all works out makes me love this film even more.

Along with the social problems we face in real life, Descendants 2 also focuses on the repeating theme found in many Disney shows and movies: Always be yourself. It is a theme I have always liked and is very prominent in Mal’s life. As she attempts to be the good girl, she learns that she isn’t happy with the constant battle to be as others expect her to be. It takes a journey after a near mental breakdown to learn that she didn’t need to change for anyone, she was loved for who she was originally.

With such a wonderful story, I give Descendants 2 five stars. It is a wonderful continuation of the story all us fans have come to love about the Descendants franchise. The DVD is definitely worth a purchase. To top it off, the DVD also comes with an awesome necklace with five different pendants featuring the dragons for Mal, the dog bones for Carlos, The heart for Evie, the snake for Jay, and the pirate for Uma.

Star Wars Rebels Season 3: Thrawn and Maul

Star Wars Rebels Season 3 introduces an Expanded Universe Character into the Star Wars Canon. When the Phoenix Squad begins taking a more prominent role in the battle against the empire, they discover that their battle will be far more difficult than they imagined. Grand Admiral Thrawn, a strategic genius, begins learning about the rebels and the way they do things in order to combat the nasty menace.

Season 3 is an epic tale dealing with massive duels, crazy droids and of course Hera, Kanan, Ezra, Sabine, Chopper, and Zebb. They are joined by allies and familiar faces in season 3 as they travel the galaxy hoping to rid the universe of the empire.

I got the chance to review the Collection and I have to say I was on the edge of my seat. We get to see so many new characters as well as familiar characters that return from near death. Grand Admiral Thrawn, Saw Gerrera, Obi-Wan, and Maul are a few of the characters that share their story in the all new game changing season.

Personally, I always felt that Maul’s story was cut short far too soon. I found it awesome that Maul continues on in Rebels and continues to try and take Ezra as his apprentice. The Obi-Wan/Maul battle is a don’t miss scene where the two sides of the force collide in an epic battle on Tatooine.

The original Trilogy starts forming as the story lines progress and the Empire gains power. Thrawn is certainly the Rebels most difficult adversary they have seen yet as he strategically combats their constant attacks. His uncanny ability to sniff out the traitors constantly puts rebel forces at risk and sometimes death. Check out the Behind The Scenes: Thrawn clip below:

The all new season did not disappoint. Star Wars lives on in the rebels as we learn what transpired before A New Hope. I certainly give this collection 5 stars!

    Princess Palace Pet Coloring Page of Cubbie

    Rapunzel has a new Palace Pet and it is unique! Normally the Disney Princesses get a pony, cat, dog, or something standard for their collection. However, there have been times when a Princess finds a truly unique animal. For example, Pocahontas has found a wolf, Mulan has found a Panda, and Aurora has found a baby Dragon. Now it is Rapunzel’s turn to find a unique animal. Her newest Palace Pet is a bear cub named Cubbie!

    Cubbie is a purple bear cub with emerald green eyes. Like Winnie the Pooh, he has a love of all things honey. Unfortunately, he can’t always tell what is honey and what is not without a little taste, which is how Rapunzel found Cubbie.

    Cubbie’s Story:
    Rapunzel was painting a portrait of Daisy when she realized that her yellow paint was missing. She followed the trail and found a bear cub that thought the paint was honey.

    DRAGONS RACE TO THE EDGE Season 5


    After defeating Viggo and destroying the Dragon Eye, the calm doesn’t last long as Hiccup learns the Hunters remain a threat led by a new villain who can control Dragons! Now, Hiccup, Toothless and the Riders must battle the Hunters like never before with help from new and old allies.     Descendants 2 Movie Party Recipes and Crafts

    Dexcendants 2 brings a whole new meaning to “Chillin like a villain” when Mal, Evie, Carlos and Jay return to the Isle of the Lost with Ben, King of Auradon. However, upon their return, not only do they have to avoid their parents, they also have to deal with Uma, daughter of Urula the Sea Witch. It may sound simple enough, but Uma holds a grudge against Mal for denying her entrance into her club. This grudge has festered causing Uma to desire the downfall of Mal. Long story short, we are in for a wicked ride.

    Free DinoTrux Road Trip Activity to Print!

    Mickey and the Roadster Racers Features Goofy!

    Tomorrow, August 15, MICKEY AND THE ROADSTER RACERS: START YOUR ENGINES races to the shelves on DVD! In this DVD debut, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy and Goofy will take the viewers on several epic adventures around the world. Just like we have seen in Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Minnie’s Happy Helpers, these Mickey and the Roaster Racers episodes are all about friendship, teamwork, and fun!

    I got the chance to review the DVD and I have to say it is everything I have come to expect from the Mickey Mouse series.

    The DVD itself features six Goofy Roadster Racer episodes and two Bonus episode:

  • Ye olde Royal Heist
  • Abra-ka-goof!
  • Guru Goofy
  • Going Upppppppppp!

    • When I saw the name Goofy in many of these titles, I couldn’t wait to see them. I may have been even more excited then the kids. Goofy has always been my favorite character since I was a little kid. I really identify with Goofy’s clumsy ways. But what I find wonderful about Goofy and his crazy situations is that no matter how wrong things might possibly go, he always gets back up and tries again. It is always comforting to see that things seem to somehow workout in the end.

    These episodes did not disappoint on the Goofy factor. The Agent Double-0-Goof made me laugh so hard. I mean, for a top spy to mistake Goofy for a spy purely on looks was hilarious. Of course, nothing was quite natural about the mission because of the “Goofy Factor.” hahaha

    This DVD also comes with a wonderful Roaster Racers Flag. It is actually a very vibrant flag made of durable fabric that looks great on the wall or blowing in the wind.
