Free Princess Palace Pets Coloring Page of Ash

Aurora has a new pet! Ironically it is a baby dragon. I guess Maleficent didn’t scar Aurora for life against dragons. At least Ash is adorable. Maleficent was more…evil looking.

Aurora Fournd ash while ahe walking in the woods. She came across an egg, abandoned in the forest and kept it. Once it hatched out popped Ash the baby dragon. It was love at first sight… Actually, it was more of imprinting at first sight, because now, Ash thinks that Aurora is her mother.

Ash is a cute pink and purple baby dragon. She wears a gold tiara with a pink gem, a gold necklace with a heart, and a beautiful gold bow on her tail. She is truly a spoiled little dragon, adorned with all the beautiful items Aurora can find.

Disney’s Pete’s Dragon Free Recipe and Activities

A Disney Classic has been re-imagined as Elliot hits the big screen once again with a more realistic makeover in Pete’s Dragon, Now in theaters. Not only has Eliiot received a makeover, but even the story has changed locations. Instead of taking place at a lighthouse, as in the classic, it now takes place in the forest near a lumber mill. No doubt much more about the story has changed and giving a whole new generation a fantastic look into the mind of a child and his imaginably large friend, a dragon named Elliot.

PETE’S DRAGON Story:
For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliot. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliot seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon. Pete’s Dragon PB&J Cobbler Recipe

Imaginary friend or not, we love the idea of cooking with Elliot the dragon. Re-imagine the classic peanut butter and jelly combo by turning it into a cobbler! This delicious Pete’s Dragon-inspired PB&J Cobbler is sure to be a hit with your kids and your tastebuds!

Pete's Dragon PB&J Cobbler

Time: 1 hr 15 min
Difficulty: easy
Print

Ingredients

1 cup sugar (1/2 cup for cookies, 1/2 cup for cobbler)
1/2 cup water
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 cups quartered strawberries
1/2 cup butter, diced
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/2 cups flour

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Butter a 2-quart baking dish.
Combine 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, and cornstarch into a saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in strawberries. Remove from heat.
Transfer cobbler into a baking dish. Add butter on top.
Bake in 400 degree oven for 20-25 minutes.
In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar, 1 egg. Mix well.
Add peanut butter, vanilla, salt, and baking soda. Mix well.
Continue mixing and add in flour, 1/2 cup at a time.
Spoon dough onto wax paper. Crosshatch each dough ball with a fork.
Remove cobbler from oven. Top with cookie dough and sprinkle with sugar.
Turn oven down to 350 degrees.
Bake for 10 minutes until cookies are golden.
Let cool before serving. Enjoy!

Homemade Mickey Mouse Campfire S’mores Recipe

Finish this summer off with a classic gone Disney when you make Homemade Mickey S’mores. Perfect for any campfire celebration! Disney Family states,

These Homemade S’mores require a little work but are so worth it. There is nothing like homemade graham crackers and marshmallows with a gooey layer of chocolate. Follow the instructions below and end your summer with the best campfire treat made to look like Mickey Mouse.

Homemade Mickey S'mores

Time: 1 hr 10 min
Difficulty: Easy-Intermediate

Ingredients

1 cup organic whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 tablespoon flax seeds
1/2 cup butter, chilled & cubed
1/4 cup organic honey
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
Mickey Mouse cookie cutter
3 (1/4-ounce) packages unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup cold water
2 cups granulated sugar
2/3 cup light corn syrup
1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Powdered sugar
Nonstick cooking spray
Chocolate bars

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
To make the graham crackers, combine both flours, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon, flax seeds and baking soda in a food processor. Add cubed & chilled butter to the mix and pulse until mix is coarse. Add honey, water and vanilla and continue to mix until combined. Remove the dough and shape into a ball. Roll out dough, about 1/4 inch thick and cut out crackers using Mickey Mouse cookie cutter. Place cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet and bake for 13-15 minutes. Cool completely on cooling rack before removing.
To prepare to make the vanilla marshmallows, lightly spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Line pan with plastic wrap.
In the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment, sprinkle gelatin over 1/2 cup cold water; let stand for 10 minutes.
In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, and 1/4 cup water. Place saucepan over medium-high heat and bring to a boil; boil rapidly for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
With the mixer on high, slowly pour the boiling syrup down the side of the mixer bowl into gelatin mixture. Add salt and mix for 12 minutes.
Add vanilla extract & mix until well combined.
Spray a rubber spatula with cooking spray & spread mixture evenly into pan. Spray a sheet of plastic wrap with cooking spray and place, spray side down, on top of marshmallows. Allow to set for at least 2 hours.
Gently remove marshmallows from pan. Using a Mickey Mouse cookie cutter, cut out marshmallows and toss in powdered sugar.
Place each marshmallow and chocolate bar between two graham crackers. Toast and enjoy!

Slugterra: Into the Shadows is being released on TV in four 22 min episodes starting Aug 6th. This new season promises to feature The Shadow Clan, a new team member named Tad, and a new slug named Pieper! Not a lot is known about this new season yet, but by watching the trailer I can say with confidence this season will be EPIC.

With Slugterra: Into the Shadows coming to TV and Theaters, I thought it would be fun to make a Pieper coloring page. It is, afterall, an adorable slug.
