In honor of Pokemon Day and Pokémon’s 30th Anniversary, Cutoff Crafts is hosting a festival! It’s a party like no other on Feb. 28, 2026 from 9am to 1:30 PM! This isn’t a card show, this is a 4 hour event where fans and collectors collide to have Pokemon fun! Get there early because the The Cutoff Crafts Pokemon Day 30th Anniversary Celebration starts when the clock strikes 9 and there are so many chances to win cards, prizes, swag, and more!
Throughout the day, the fantastic people at Cutoff Crafts will host random games exclusively made by their own imaginations! Some of their top hitters from previous Pokemon Celebrations that they are bringing back are “Find the Pikachu”, “Collect the Energy”, “Team Rocket Battle”, and the ever popular, “Don’t Say Pokeball”, which will grant even better prizes this time around!
Find the Pikachu
Find the Pikachu is a FREE-TO-PLAY game where we drop 500 bulk cards on a table and 1 Pikachu card. Fans gather around the table and place one hand behind their back. When Ahsoka shouts go, everyone starts turning cards over. If it’s not the Pikachu, they place it back facedown on the table. The one that finds the Pikachu shouts, “Pikachu!” and wins a Surfing Pikachu VMAX!
Collect Energy
Collect the Energy is another FREE-TO-PLAY game that has players stand around the table. Only this time, players must collect 9 different energy cards: Grass, Fire, Water, Lightning, Psychic, Fighting, Darkness, Metal, and Fairy! The first person to collect all 9 energy cards must raise their hand and shout “Gotta Collect Them All!” We will then check their cards to make sure all 9 were collected. If so, the winner wins a Holo Energy card!
Team Rocket Battles
Team Rocket Battle is a fun game that will take place throughout the day! Each person arriving at the event will receive 3 Cutoff Crafts energy cards: 1 Grass, 1 Fire, and 1 Water. If Team Rocket comes up to you and demands a battle, you will pull an energy card of your choosing, Team Rocket will pull an energy card as well. If the player wins the battle, they get to rescue a pokemon card from Team Rocket! BUT, if the player loses, Team Rocket will take the energy card played! So players be on your guard and be careful!
For those who wish to demolish Team Rocket and take an epic card, you can buy a Fairy Energy card for $5. Fairy is a guaranteed win of an EX or higher!

Don’t Say Pokeball
One of the Top games Cutoff Crafts host for their Pokemon Celebrations is, “Don’t Say Pokeball!” The Cutoff Crafts team cannot say the word Pokeball! If one of them does, be the first to call them on it and receive a Pokeball Sticker! Collect 5 stickers and get a random card. Collect 10 stickers and get a cosmic holo card plus be entered for a chance to win some epic prizes including a Journey Together Booster Bundle donated by Thunder Games!
How To play:
- Make a $10 purchase at the Cutoff Crafts booth
- Get a Pokeball Collection Sheet (Get 1 for every $10 spent)

Be the fastest to sleeve cards and win a Blissy V card! All players get to keep the cards they sleeve!
- Fact or Fake
Michelle will say the name of an attack, Players must guess if it is Fact or Fake. The person with the most correct answers wins a Ditto V card!
- HP Battle
Over 100 cards will be placed face down on a table. Two players will step up to the table and draw a random card. The player with the lowest HP steps away from the table and is out of the game. The player with the highest HP remains. A new player steps up to challenge the winner. The game continues until only one player remains. This player will win the Gold Duraludon Vmax (Secret Rare) card from Silver Tempest!
- Pokeball Surprise
We will have a Pokeball bucket of Pokeballs. Each player gets to select a ball. Inside each ball is a number, that number will point to a prize that they get to collect! A prize could be anything including, but not limited to, SWAG, singles, booster packs, and more!
Pack Battle Tournament
To celebrate 30 years of Pokemon, Cutoff Crafts will be hosting a HUGE Pack Battle Tournament where the winner is guaranteed to walk away with at least a Surging Sparks ETB! However, to make this Pack Battle even more extreme, the prize pool will increase as more people join!!
If we reach:
- Level 1: One set of promo cards is added to the prize pool
- Level 2: One random Japanese booster pack is added to the prize pool
- Level 3 One small random Pokemon Tin is added to the prize pool
- Level 4: One Greninja ex and Kingdra ex Special Collection Box is added to the prize pool
- Level 5 (200 Players): one sealed Pokemon Center ETB will be added to the prize pool!
That means if we reach 200 players, the winner of the Pack Battle Tournament will take home, One Surging Sparks ETB, One set of promo cards, One random Japanese booster pack, One small random Pokemon Tin, One Greninja ex and One Kingdra ex Special Collection Box, and One sealed Pokemon Center ETB! That’s over $500 in Pokemon items!
How this works:
- Purchase a Cutoff Crafts’ Pack Battle Tournament Entry Ticket. Every Battler needs a ticket.
- Come to the Rathdrum Lions Club for the Pokemon Day 30th Anniversary Celebration.
- At 12:30pm Cutoff Crafts will start checking tickets and preparing for the Pack Battle Tournament! All players must be checked in and ready to battle by 12:59pm. The Battle will start at 1pm!
How a Cutoff Crafts’ Pack Battle Tournament works:
- Players will sit across from each other.
- A member of Cutoff Crafts will give each player a pack. Packs could feature:

~Korean packs
~Chinese Packs
~Japanese packs
~Mega
~Journey Together
~Mega Dream
~Prismatic Evolutions
~Paldean Fates
~or others!
(Packs are subject to change and depend on the amount of people who join. The greater the entries, the greater the packs!) - Once a member of Cutoff Crafts says “Battle”, players will rip open their packs and display their cards. A member of Cutoff Crafts will decide who is the winner using a ranking sheet. The player with the top grossing card wins the battle and moves onto the next round. The player who did not win, steps away from the battle but keeps the cards they have opened.
- The next round will be the same. Players will face off with a sealed pack of Pokémon cards. This will continue until one player remains. The last remaining player will be declared the Winning Battler and receive The Grand Prize!
