Free Printables featuring Disney’s 2016 Pete’s Dragon

What can logging find in a forest outside of a small town? A lot apparently when it comes to Pete and his dragon. In the Pete’s Dragon (2016) movie, Eliot and Pete find themselves on a crazy adventure when their once peaceful forest turns into a nightmare as trees are cut down near their home. Out of curiosity, Pete investigates the rather unfamiliar noise only to find himself in a heap of trouble and removed from the forest he loves. As Pete is reintroduced to the world of humans, Eliot spend his days tracking his little buddy. However, with people looking to make a fast buck, his search could be dangerous.

While watching the film, I kept thinking, “Well this is completely different than the original.” The funny thing is, the hardest part for me to get used to was the fact that Eliot was fluffy like Falkor from The Neverending Story. However, as the film came to an end, the fluffiness was less important than the story. While it was different than the classic, it had a great tale. My family and I enjoyed it and we were very happy to see that Netflix has added it to their database.
