The holidays are upon us and we are all out scurrying around to find he perfect Christmas Gift. It can be hard and overwhelming, but Insight Editions has released something amazing that may just make buying presents a breeze! This year, they have released several books, known as the Discover Series, that turns reading into a fun and interactive experience! I got the opportunity to receive Ancient Egypt, Human Body, and Dinosaurs and I thought I would share my review below!
Before I dive into each book, I just want to state that these books as a whole are amazing! Their pictures, stories, and quality are above and beyond what I expect from children books! The pictures take over every page with movement, life, and color. They nearly jump off the page with wonder. Each time I look at the pictures I find myself noticing something new. There are little bubbles to explain new attributes and information intertwined throughout the pages. It truly is an adventure of discovery through art. Place this within a hardcover on beautiful glossy paper, and this becomes a book that is easy to use, fun to learn from, and durable for some of the most energetic kids. Insight Editions knows what here doing when creating books for families!

Play games, complete quizzes, or even listen to different heartbeats! How cool is that!?!?! This book also provides an up-close look at different organs and cells and the sounds they make!

Now, let’s get to my favorite of the three books! Yes, Ancient Egypt is fascinating and the Human Body is an amazing trek through science and biology, but come on, Dinosaurs are AWESOME! How could we not spend a little time in the realm of the giant lizards? The world of Dinosaurs is one of my favorite things to read about and now with Discover Dinosaurs from Insight Editions, we have a whole new way to learn about these fierce beasts.
