On September 16th, 2014 the Shout! Factory Kids in collaboration with Nerd Corps will release Slugterra: Return of the Elementals on DVD! After watching this film in theaters, I can honestly say that I am very excited for this DVD release. This movie continues from the TV series and the movie Slugterra: A Ghoul from Beyond, however this battle to save SlugTerra will be far more difficult than those in the past. To get the assistance he needs to face an evil alliance that threatens to destroy their home, Eli accepts help from the Shadow Clan, a rare Enigmo slug, and a holographic image of his father. Watch the DVD to see the Shane Gang attempt (and possibly succeed) in rescuing the Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Energy Elementals to save Slugterra and the 99 caverns.

My favorite part of the film was seeing the new slugs. I find the design of the Elemental Slugs fascinating. Each Slug seemed to emanate the element they controlled. For example, the Earth Elemental Slug is stocky and wide with an almost rock like feature and the Fire Elemental Slug literally appears to be on fire.
In anticipation of the DVD release and since I love the design of the slugs so much, I decided to make coloring pages featuring the Elemental Slugs.
