For those who haven’t started watching Monsters at Work on Disney+, I suggest you do so. It’s an amazing series that features a lot of new monsters. Monsters at Work starts when Mike and Sulley becoming the leaders of Monsters Inc with Mike taking the title of Senior Co-President of Monsters, Incorporated and Chief Executive Vice-Deputy Administrative Director of Comedy Resources Management, and Sulley taking the title of CEO. As the factory transitions from scare power to laugh power, all the monsters are trying to find their place in the company, including a new employee named Tylor Tuskmon.
Tylor was hired as a scarer, but arrives just as the change went from scare to laugh. instead of becoming a lead scarer on the scare floor, he is shoved in the basement to work with the Monsters Incorporated Facilities Team, better know as MIFT. Basically he is a repair man for the machinery in Monsters Inc.
While we get to meet a bunch of new characters, Sulley and Mike make frequent cameos, and we event get to see what happens to the Abominable Snowman. Check it out on Disney+ to see each episode of the series as they are released.
To celebrate the new series, Disney’s Facebook page released a fun recipe featuring our frozen furry friend, The Abominable Snowman. His recipe is, no shock here, Lemon Snow Cones. I had to share it!
To make the Snow Cones:
Ingredients:
6 Lemons
2 cups of sugar
2 Tbsp of Corn Syrup
1/4 cup water
Yellow food coloring
Ice
Step 1: Squeeze Lemons to make about 1 cup of lemon juice
Step 2: Combine lemon juice, sugar, corn syrup, and water in a pot. Simmer over medium heat. Whisk until everything combines.
Step 3: Remove mixture from heat and let cool. Add yellow food coloring and stir until mixture is bright yellow
Step 4 Make shaved ice using a blender or snow cone machine
Step 5 Combine shaved ice and yellow syrup mixture in a large bowl mix until ice is fully covered
Step 6: Serve the mixture in paper cones
Now Enjoy!
