Find The Panda, The Cat, Or Maybe C-3PO

I am assuming, at this point, that almost everyone has seen the “Find the Panda” Game made by Gergely “Dudolf” Dudás. You know, the one where you stare at a picture full of snowmen and focus on finding a cute black and white panda all the while thinking, “How hard could this be?” Only to find that maybe it might be harder than it looks. Then, of course, you find it and now it is impossible to unsee and the thrill of he hunt is gone. Well don’t lose heart, because there are now several “Find the Panda” Games posted throughout the internet.

With this fun little search game going viral, many more people are jumping in on the fun and creating their own games. The following images below are some of my favorites, especially the Star Wars ones. Those are Epic! So Can you find the Panda?…or perhaps the cat? Or how about C-3PO?

Toys “R” Us Star Wars: The Epic Battles Posters

Over the last couple of months, Star Wars and Toys “R” Us have had an event going on where fans can head to Toys “R” Us and collect the epic Star Wars Medals. To do so, fans had to bring in the certificate stating that they had played Star Wars: The Epic Battles and won. When the employees at Toys “R” Us saw the certificate, they would hand the players a medal. There were four games and four medals to collect featuring the planets:

Hoth
Endor
Tatooine
and Yavin

Each Epic Battle game was actually like a “Where’s Waldo” game where players had to find five specific characters or machinery hidden within a massive poster of chaos. R2-D2, C-3PO, Ewoks, Luke Sywalker, Max Rebo, Darth Vader, Chewbacca, and more were all hidden within the scenes. Let me tell you, the games were fun and entertaining! In fact, I loved the Games so much, I saved the posters to create my own search and finds.

It turns out that I am not the only one that loved the posters. The moment people found out I had copies of these posters, I began getting emails requesting copies. I figured it would be easier to share these posters on my blog and let all the fans download them. All you have to do is click the image and save the jpeg to your computer. So easy, a jawa could so it.

Note: I did not draw these, create these or own these. These posters were part of the Star Wars: The Epic Battle Games by Toys “R” Us.

DreamWork’s Dragons: Race to the Edge will have a Season 2!

The stakes are higher than ever as Hiccup and Toothless face off against a new band of ruthless Dragon Hunters when DreamWork’s Dragons: Race to the Edge Season Two premieres January 8 with 13 new episodes only on Netflix! Ryker and his army storm Dragon’s Edge with a plan to capture more dragons, the Dragon Riders and the secret-filled Dragon Eye. As they battle these new opponents, Heather goes undercover, Astrid and Tuff defend their turf, and Hiccup must outsmart the hunters to overcome their sheer physical force.

Jay Baruchel and America Ferrera, stars of the How to Train Your Dragon films, provide the voices of Hiccup and Astrid, along with Christopher Mintz-Plasse as Fishlegs and T.J. Miller as Tuffnut. Adding to the fantastic cast is Alfred Molina, who plays a new villain!

In celebration of the upcoming premiere here is a special a clip from the new season that reveals a NEW dragon! This new dragon is called The Armor Wing. It is a large long necked dragon that lacks natural armor but steals swords, shields and other metal objects to create metallic scales to protect its soft body.

The dragon riders are on a quest to find Snotlout’s sacred axe, but it looks like the almighty, metallic Armor Wing has found it first in Season 2 of DreamWorks’ “Dragons: Race to the Edge,” premiering exclusively on Netflix on 1/8.

Star Wars The Force Awakens BB-8 Pancakes Recipe

I finally got the chance to see Star Wars The Force Awakens in theaters on Christmas Day/ Let me tell you (This is Spoiler free so no worries), I liked BB-8 before I saw the movie. I made printables featuring the adorable droid, I gave away a Christmas Gift featuring BB-8, and I even made a DeviantArt Gif for my avatar. However, After seeing the film, I now love this little droid. He is not only adorable, he has a hilarious sense of humor, an aggressive attitude and displays emotions almost as well as R2-D2.

For those of us who love this new droid, Disney has released a recipe inspired by this Star Wars The Force Awakens character. BB-8 is now immortalized in pancakes. Now, we can roll out of bed in the morning and prepare a scrumptious breakfast by transforming regular pancakes into a Star Wars breakfast from another galaxy. With just a little powdered sugar and some fruit, BB-8 will be art on our plates. He is also very easy and quick to make!

Save this recipe by clicking Print and saving it as a PDF. Then go forth and make an out of this world pancake that the First Order will want more than the actual droid.

BB-8 Pancakes

Time: 20 minutes
Difficulty: easy
Print

NOTE: All cutting should be done by an adult.

Ingredients

1 1/2 Cups all purpose flour
3 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 TB of White Sugar
1 1/4 Cup Milk
1 egg
3 Tbsp butter melted
1 tsp Vanilla extract
Powdered sugar
1 orange
Handful of blueberries

Directions

In a large bowl mix together the flour, baking powder, salt and sugar.
Pour in milk, egg and melted butter and whisk together until there are no lumps
Heat an oiled frying pan on medium heat. Fry the pancakes until they are brown on both sides. Make an equal number of Large and medium=sized pancakes
Place a large pancake in the center of a plate. This will be BB-8’s body.
On a cutting board cut the medium pancake almost in half, but with one side slightly larger than the other. Take the larger half and trim the corners. This will be BB-8’s head. Place above the large pancake.
Sprinkle the pancakes with powdered sugar.
Cut an orange into round slices. Take one slice and cut a crescent off of it. Place the whole orange slice on the top left part of the large pancake. Place the other slice on the bottom right.
Place two blueberries on the medium pancake as BB-8’s eyes.
Serve and Enjoy

DreamWorks Dawn of the Croods Is Now On Netflix

The time has finally come and just in time for the holidays! today, 12/24, is the world premiere of DreamWorks Animation’s Dawn of the Croods on Netflix! What a great way to relax and have the family together this evening than watching an epic cartoon featuring our favorite caveman family, the Croods.

In fact celebrating with the Croods is rather fun! Add a Bone Ornament to the tree and a Burlap stocking to the wall to help bring a little bit of the caveman feel to the holiday. After all, Christmas is about family, and what better family is there other than your own? That’s right! The Croods! Please be aware that adding these items to your Christmas Decor may cause your family to fall back into caveman days as they start grunting and hoping around. Also, there is a slight chance ideas may start coming from their stomach. Word of wisdom, make sure there is plenty of food. You have been warned.

8 Fun and Free Printable Christmas Paper Crafts

Here is a statement that will send chills through our bones if we are net yet prepared, Christmas is Tomorrow! Yeah I can’t believe it either! However, Merry Christmas Eve!

On this festive day of the year, it can be somewhat difficult to get the kids calm. The excitement of Santa Claus coming to town to deliver presents even makes me wide awake with anticipation. In my family, I have seen the excitement filter into non-stop energy. Picture the Game of Lava, where they jump from object to object and never touch the floor, however, remove the objects. The kids (and adults believe it or not) remain in the air in a destructive Tornado like force. It can be difficult to calm the masses and get them settled for a wonderful evening, unless you come prepared.

I like to be prepared for the moments of a natural-disaster energy burst with a Christmas Emergency Fun Kit. Simply fill a small box with crafts and quiet games, then, when things get crazy, pull it out and get the family involved. Be sure the activities get everyone to sit and think. I find Paper Crafts are a wonderful distraction and can easily be made with a holiday theme. Below are 8 examples of what could be great additions to any Christmas Emergency Fun Kit. The Good Dinosaur Activities & Recipes

A boy and his dog…er umm.. I mean a Dinosaur and his human. It is such a wonderful story of facing your fears and looking at the wonder around you. Oh and it asks the oldest question known to dinosaur kind, “What would have happened if the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs never struck Earth?” Would man be the dominate species or would dinosaurs still rule the world?

HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2 Now On Digital HD

Guess what came out on Digital HD Today! HOTEL TRANSYLVANIA 2!!! OK, yes that wasn’t hard to guess since it was in the title, but still just as exciting. For my fellow HT fans, this newest edition brings back all our favorite characters and adds a few more to make an epic story of how the grandson of Dracula deals with being human.

Snowpaws Princess Palace Pets Coloring Page

Exciting news for all the fans of Disney’s Princess Palace Pets! There are three new Palace Pets that have been released! There is Stripes the Zebra, Birdadette the Bird, and the one I am focusing on today, Snowpaws the Snow Leopard. Each are more detailed than the past Palace Pets and Each are unusual but adorable animals. I am so excited to see Disney expand past dogs, cats and ponies to something more interesting animals like Snow Leopards and Pandas.

Today, I wanted to focus on Snowpaws the Snow Leopard. I thought with the holiday season and all the snow we see this time of year, it would be great to follow the theme of Winter. This adorable Snow Leopard is not as cold as ice, she will actually melt your heart.

There is a theory out there that this little Leopard was actually meant to be Elsa’s (The Snow Queen from Frozen) first Palace Pet. However, after some debate, they changed a few things to the design of the Snow Leopard and gave her to Mulan. So let us all welcome SNOWPAWS the newest edition to Mulan’s Palace Pet Collection.

How Mulan found Snowpaws:
When Mulan saw Snowpaws peeking out from behind a snow sculpture she’d made, they became best friends. The Pets love this “crafty” snow leopard’s artistic talents!

Snowpaws is a beautiful White Snow Leopard with turquoise eyes and a light pink nose. She has blue markings on her head and lower body. Her tail is pink, which matches her inner ear. She wears a Pink Collar, a Blue Bow is tied to the base of her tail and a purple tiara sits on her head. Check out the image above for a more detailed look at Snowpaws.

Fun Delicious Christmas Recipes

Christmas is all about sharing those special moments with the family. Whether it be long distant or close at home, it is a time to get together and have fun. In my family it is also about the food. There better be Sugar Cookies, Pies, and all kinds of homemade candy. The best part is these Christmasy treats are often made together with the kids and adults. And when the home smells like fresh baked cookies, it really brings out the holiday cheer in everyone.

To help bring out the holiday cheer, I wanted to try something new and different. Sure, I am making my famous sugar cookies and delicious mixed berry pie, but it is always great to have a little variety. So when I was given the opportunity to create two wonderful recipes inspired by ‘Frosty the Snowman’ and ‘Santa Claus is Comin to Town,’ two Christmas Classics my family totally adores, I grabbed the recipes with both arms and held on tight.

Believe it or not, I didn’t have to do too much. These recipes were so unique and entertaining that my mom had to get her hands dirty in the kitchen and try them herself. Instead, I sat on standby as she worked her magic in the kitchen. She makes cooking look so easy and what she produces is nothing less than awesomeness. See for yourself:

These are the cutest snowmen you have ever seen. I know Frosty would approve And let me just add, an entire tray of cookies is missing already (and they were delicious). To make matters even more wonderful this Christmas, these recipes are really not that difficult to make. A little mixing here and a little baking there and you have wonderful treat for the whole family! Get the recipes below and start the holiday fun!

POPCORN FROSTY THE SNOWMAN

Servings: makes about 4
Time: 20 minutes
Difficulty: easy

Stay out of the cold and experience the magic of building a snowman indoors! Using a box of Pop Secret popcorn, marshmallows, and your favorite candy, build and decorate your own Frosty the Snowman!

Just follow these simple instructions with the help of an adult and bring the magic of Frosty to your kitchen!

Ingredients

2 BAGS POP SECRET POPCORN, POPPED
1 POUND MARSHMALLOWS
¼ CUP BUTTER
OPTIONAL: CANDY DECORATIONS (Use some of the Reese’s Pieces

Directions

Melt marshmallows and butter in a large sauce pan.
Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Pour over your POP-SECRET popcorn and stir.
Butter hands well and form into balls.
Decorate using your favorite candy!
Display and enjoy!

SANTA CLAUS IS COMIN TO TOWN REESE’S PIECES COOKIES

Servings: makes about 30
Time: 20 minutes
Difficulty: easy

Nothing spreads holiday cheer like the aroma of fresh baked cookies – especially with this special holiday recipe, straight from Mrs. Claus herself! Using your favorite Hershey’s candy Reese’s Pieces, these cookies are the perfect snack for watching Santa Claus is Comin’ to Town. And to leave out with a glass of milk for Santa on Christmas Eve!

Ingredients

½ CUP (1 STICK) BUTTER OR MARGARINE, SOFTENED
½ CUP GRANULATED SUGAR
½ CUP PACKED LIGHT BROWN SUGAR
½ CUP REESE’S CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER
1 EGG
½ TEASPOON VANILLA EXTRACT
1 CUP ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
½ TEASPOON BAKING SODA
¼ TEASPOON SALT
1 CUP REESE’S PIECES CANDIES

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, peanut butter, egg, and vanilla in large bowl until fluffy. Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. Stir in candies. Drop by heaping teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly browned; remove from oven. Cool slightly; remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Makes about 30 cookies.
