Cubeecraft of Katara from Avatar The Last Airbender

Before the Legend of Korra there was Avatar The Last Airbender, the beginning of the epic cartoon series. It is by far one of my favorite cartoon series out there. I like it because of the wonderful character development, art and story lines. They all have back stories that help you really feel for the characters and understand where they came from. Even the “bad guys” have enough development to make them feel as if they were something more than a clichรฉ.

My favorite bending is Water bending. It is the element of change and can be used almost anywhere. For the exceptional benders it can be used to become an excellent healer or used to become a Blood Bender (Which Katara reluctantly learns how to use). .

Cubeecraft of Belle from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast

Now that I have shared my love of the Disney Princesses I figured I should make another cubeecraft that reflects one of my favorite movies. I think Beauty and the Beast has some of the best characters one can find in Disney as well as some of the best music. I still find myself singing songs from this movie. I have to admit that I even bought this film in 3D just so I can feel like I am there in the movie (I love 3D movies ๐Ÿ˜€ ).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I believe I also relate to Belle, a strange girl in a town that just doesn’t understand her. I am not sure how many people thought I was strange or still do, but I am sure it adds up to a lot. Just read my blog and you know I have a very random mind and fall under the term “Super Nerd” or “Uber Geek”
With Belle we have a girl who wants adventure and finds one, her “Tale is as old as time” and here is a cubeecraft to capture one moment in her tale.
Cubeecraft of Cinderella
Disney has had a huge market in the Princess Department. I know I cater to it often because I love the whole princess theme. I remember watching the films as a child and it just brings back memories. So in a nostalgic moment I created a Cinderella cubeecraft. A paper toy that is fun to create and fun to play with. ๐Ÿ˜€ She is dressed for the ball and ready to dance. ๐Ÿ˜€
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

There are two dresses that you can use in this cubeecraft. One is short to show off her shoes and one is a long flowing dressโ€ฆYour pick.

Cubeecraft of an AT-AT Driver from the movie Star Wars Empire Strikes Back

It would not be me to skip making a cubeecraft from one of my favorite movies of all time. To skip Star Wars would be cruel to my love. Not only did I need a Star Wars cubee, but it had to be one of my favorite troopers. While there are many choices through the Star Wars movies, my choice comes from Empire Strikes Back, arguably the best film of them all.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The AT-AT Driver does not have a very long scene on the Planet Hoth, but is an intricate part in the fall of the Rebel Base. Without them driving the All-Terrain Armored Transport (AT-AT) it would have been left to the ground troops and the tiny AT-STs.

To Build the Cubeecraft:
This cubeecraft requires a little more work than most. It has the two cylinders for the back, Hoses that hook to the front plate (They slide through a slot) and a top head-piece to give it that AT-AT Driver feel. So be prepared for a slightly higher level of difficulty

Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife

  5. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
  6. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.

A Cubeecraft of Jeff Dunham’s Famous Purple Puppet Named Peanut

“Je fa fa Dun Ham dot Com” I bet you read that in the voice of Peanut. And who wouldn’t? This purple lovable character is the one I look forward to most and is usually brought out last (along with jalapeno on a stick). The voice of Peanut is very skillfully done by Jeff Dunham (he is a ventriloquist after all), who really gives the puppet character and the feeling of realism. You almost believe that even Jeff thinks his puppets are real. ๐Ÿ˜€ Or he really enjoys playing with dolls.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In honor of my favorite puppet, Peanut, I thought it would be fitting to have a cubeecraft of him. Now you can put this toy together and pretend that you are a ventriloquist. Or just have him sitting on your desk for decor or nostalgic purposes…As if that would happen. It is almost guaranteed that someone will pick him up and start playing with him, quoting some phrase that they had heard Peanut say. I dare say even you would find it hard to leave him alone.

This cubeecraft is free to download, however, I will accept donations. These projects take a long time to create and any amount is much appreciated!

Cubeecraft of Korra from Avatar The Legend of Korra

Finally, in the Legend of Korra cubeecraft series, Avatar Korra has been added to the group. This hot-headed teenager is from the Southern Water Tribe and is the next Avater after Avatar Aang.

Korra has mastered Water, fire and earth bending. She lives in Republic City learning Airbending from Tenzin, the son of Avatar Aang. Although airbending has been a little difficult for her to learn, she is a very gifted bender, which she has often proved in the pro-bending ring or against Amon. Korra has a tough, sarcastic and fierce attitude. She is also very loyal to her family and friends.

Cubeecraft of Jinora from The Legend of Korra

Jinora, a very quiet girl and avid reader, is the eldest child of Tenzin and Pema, and granddaughter to Avatar Aang and Katara. She lives on Air Temple Island with her family. Although she is quiet and less rambunctious than her brothers and sisters, she is by no means weaker. She shows great skills in airbending by displaying a variety of different moves throughout the TV series.

Cubeecraft of Ikki from The Legend of Korra

Ikki, a very talkative airbender, is the youngest daughter of Tenzin and Pema, and granddaughter to Avatar Aang and Katara. She lives on Air Temple Island with her family. She is very proficient in airbending. Ikki’s curiosity and Energy make her very hyperactive. Her active imagination often results in a ton of questions.

Cubeecraft of Meelo from The Legend of Korra

Meelo, Tenzin and Pema’s son, and grandson to Avatar Aang and Katara. He and his family live on Air Temple Island. Meelo is one of the more humorous characters in The Legend of Korra (because who doesn’t find fart bending funny?). Although the children, and sometimes parents, are quirky and fun to watch, the family is very important due to the fact that they are the only family of airbenders that exist in their world.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meelo is my first cubeecraft from the Legend of Korra. I am working on cubeecrafts of Jinora and Ikki, the sisters of Meelo. They will be released at a later date.
