From executive producer Scott Fellows, the world-famous talking moose and flying squirrel are back in season 2 of The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, a serialized comedy divided by unique arcs about two goofball best friends who routinely find themselves thrust into harrowing situations but end up saving the day time and again. The series was recently nominated for three Annie Awards, two for Character Design in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production and one for Production Design in an Animated Television/Broadcast Production.

The first arc of the season, “Almost Famoose” has Rocky & Bullwinkle go viral as famous rock stars followed by their lofty treasure hunting plans in “The Legends of the Power Gems” arc, and last but not least the duo embarks on their biggest adventure yet in and as “Amazamoose and Squirrel Wonder!” As always Rocky and Bullwinkle’s innocent and silly ambitions end up dovetailing with Fearless Leader’s sinister plans to take over the world, our heroes are set on a collision course with notorious super spies Boris Badenov and Natasha Fatale. The thirteen episode season also includes special voice guests Mark Hamill, Mario Lopez, Weird Al Yankovic and Lil Rel Howery!

Ralph Breaks the Internet has hit the netizens by storm with their exciting trip through the World Wide Web. When it first showed in theaters on Nov. 21, 2018 it made $354.3 million with fans saying Yesss. If one could have seen that digitally, I am sure hearts would have been flying to the video itself.

Synopsis:
Video game bad guy Ralph and fellow misfit Vanellope von Schweetz must risk it all by traveling to the World Wide Web in search of a replacement part to save Vanellope’s video game, “Sugar Rush.” In way over their heads, Ralph and Vanellope rely on the citizens of the internet — the netizens — to help navigate their way, including an entrepreneur named Yesss, who is the head algorithm and the heart and soul of trend-making site BuzzzTube.

Mini Winnie the Pooh Pizzas

• Servings: 1
• Time: 45 min
• Difficulty: Easy

Ingredients Flour Pizza sauce Black olives Pepperoni Premade pizza dough Mozzarella cheese Kitchen scissors Fresh Basil

Directions Generously flour a prep surface, remove the pizza dough from its packaging, and let it rest for 15-30 minutes. Divide into smaller portions and mold each one into the shape of Winnie the Pooh’s head and ears. Place on a well oiled baking pan, and top with sauce and cheese. Using a clean pair of scissors, cut black olives into his nose and eyes, and pepperoni into his nose crinkle and eyebrows. Follow the directions on the pizza dough to set your oven and bake the pizzas. Remove from oven, and use a spatula to place them onto a flat surface to let them cool a little. Serve with fresh basil!

There are movies where I wish I had done a little research before diving in and watching.  A House With A Clock in the Walls is one of those wishful “research” moments.    If I had known the director was some kind of horror buff, I would have stayed as far away as possible.  But my naivety led to a 2-hour nightmare.

When I say nightmare, it is because I do not handle horror films very well and this one was far more on the occult side of things than I care to watch.  Shockingly, it is only rated PG, even with the satan heads on mechanical bodies, rising of the dead, and demonic characters making spells. I have no idea how this didn’t at least get a PG-13 rating. This movie matched better with The Craft than with children’s movies. 

There wasn’t much I enjoyed about The House With A Clock in the Walls. I went in expecting a funny little film starring Jack Black, and I left needing to find a happy place.  Even the graphics and acting lacked luster.  From fake crying to a weird Jack Black baby, nothing seemed to mesh well. 

I realize most reviews are from a 1-5 star rating, but to even give this a star seems generous.  I cannot in good conscience say it even deserved a tick in the scale. 

NOPE… NOPE…NOPE….

The final season of Voltron is upon us and I am both excited but saddened by the news.  I have loved this series and want to see the conclusion, but also want it to continue.  It’s a complicated set of emotions..  Voltron Legendary Defender’s final season is debuting tomorrow, December 14^th only on Netflix!
