This Sunday, Aug 6th, is National Friendship Day where we get to share our appreciation to all the friends in our lives. Let’s face it, without them many of us would have gone insane.
Friendship is amazing; it is a special bond of trust, respect and acceptance we share with another person. Friendship also allows many of us to find new meaning, new paths, and different viewpoints in life that we might otherwise have never heard or experienced. In other words, friends keep our lives interesting and worth living. Without them, our lives could have become a repetitive bore trapped in our own stale minds.
As you can see, Queen Victoria was experiencing that exact state of boredom before she met Abdul Karim. However, once these two became the best of friends, spice and excitement was added back into Queen Victoria’s life. We can watch their friendship unfold in the brand new movie, VICTORIA & ABDUL coming to NY and LA September 22, 2017 and select cities September 29 and October 6.

Make them a personal card
Make a friendship braclet
Share a special post on facebook, twitter or other social media outlets
Cook them a dinner with some of their favorite foods
Name a drink after them
take them to their favorite location
have a picnic
and the list can keep going! It is amazing how a simple gesture to say “I was thinking of you” can change a friend’s day.
