The Disney movie Lilo and Stitch features an abomination…well actually he is cute and fluffy. His name is Stitch and he was created by Jumba. Through an amazing escape, Stitch ends up on Earth where he is adopted by a little girl named Lilo. During his time with Lilo, Stitch learns what it is like to have a family and people who love you. He learns Ohana.

Stitch is a blue creature with 4 arms and two legs…or maybe it is just six legs. He has a big nose, long ears, and a very strong personality. Certainly one of the cutest aliens in the Disney world 😀

On June 7th, Sofia the First: The Secret Library will be released on DVD. I suppose that means the secret library is no longer a secret. hahaha

The Disney movie Aladdin features a bizarre but lovable character voiced by Robin Williams. If you guessed the Genie, than you are 100% correct! The Genie’s only wish is freedom, but to get free, his master must sacrifice a wish and wish for his freedom. How often does that happen? Pretty close to never. However, that doesn’t stop the Genie from hoping.

In the mean time, Genie is a rambunctious, random, and wacky guy who just likes to have fun with his semi phenomenal nearly cosmic powers. I mean if you have powers, you might as well use them…right. And genie uses them for mostly entertainment.

His best friend is Aladdin, one of his most recent masters, and the one guy to sacrifice a wish to grant his freedom. It that isn’t true friendship, I don’t know what is.

The Disney movie Aladdin features a street rat living on the streets of Agrabah. However, despite his small status in terms of riches and kingdoms, Aladdin is considered to be a “Diamond in the Rough” and the only one worthy to enter the Cave of Wonders. this fact leads Aladdin on an all new adventure that changes his life forever.

Although Aladdin has grown up on the streets and has had to steal or fight for even just a loaf of bread, he remains optimistic about life, dreaming on day everything will change and he will be rich and live in a palace. He also has a pure heart and will sacrifice what he has to help or save another. For example, after stealing a loaf of bread, which lead to an epic chase scene, he sees two young kids searching garbage cans for food. Instead of eating the bread, he gives it to the kids.

His best friends is a monkey named Abu that has a few…issues. He is a thief by nature and can’t seem to stop thieving no matter how Aladdin tries to stop him. But because of Abu’s nature, Aladdin meets the Genie and discovers a whole new world with Jasmine.

Mickey and his friends are coming back May 24th in an all new Disney Junior DVD collection called, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Sport-Y-Thon! This collection features SIX Mickey Mouse Clubhouse episodes for the little ones to enjoy.

I got the chance to watch this DVD and this is what I found…
“Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Mickey’s Sport-Y-Thon” is a Disney Junior episode collection of Disney Juniors hit TV show, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Therefore, it is directed at little kids. Minnie, Mickey, Goofy, Donald and even Toodles are there to interact with the audience as they compete in their Sport-y-thon events. But it wouldn’t be a true Disney Junior collection without the opportunity to teach life lessons. In Mickey’s Sport-y-thon, Disney Junior has taken the opportunity to teach ‘Never Give Up,’ ‘Play Fair,’ ‘Try Your Best,’ and ‘Have Fun.’

For example, when Space Minnie attempts to get her ball through the hoop she uses a jet pack. Since no one else has a jet pack, Goofy, the referee, deems the jet pack unfair. Space Minnie realizes she has an advantage with her gadget and removes it to play fair. She then displays excellent team work as she helps her team score the winning basket.

The DVD also comes with a very cool Mickey Sport-y-thon medal. I was surprised to find out that it isn’t just cheap plastic, it actually has some weight to it and sounds like a coin when you drop it (found that out by accident).
