My Pit Bull Becomes a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Thanks to Paramount – Halloween Unboxing

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mutant Mayhem has come to the SKGaleana house and we are thrilled! Well, most of us. “Add maniacle laughing here”. It turns out that Paramount sent us a box with all sorts of fun goodies inside featuring the amazing Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem movie! With it being the Halloween season, I tore through the contents with gusto! Don’t worry, I did an unboxing video so you could see all of the items included.

Now for the reason of the maniacle laughter. This box contained a dog costume of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, Leonardo! The costume contains a body wrap, a turtle shell, and a hat/mask!

Much to Charcoal’s excitement, this getup was going to be her costume for Halloween! I mean, just look at that face. Charcoal is totally excited.

Actually, she was not thrilled about the idea of becoming a Mutant, nor was she going to wear the costume. We gave her the option, allowed her to warm up to the idea, but her stance was clear: this costume would not be covering her body. Because we respect our baby girl’s wishes and never want to force her into something so ridiculous, our eyes changed their gaze to Kidahakash.

My little tri-color pit bull has a lot more patience for such things and will walk around to appease her subordinates. The one and only problem is, she has a bit more girth than Charcoal, which means Kidagakash may not fit the costume fully. With a kick in my step to see at least one of our puppies strut in such an amazing costume, I sat Kidagakash down, gave her a treat, and proceeded to decorate her in Mutant Mayhem epicness. She simply stood there while I quickly placed the pieces on. I was right, of course, her body had a bit too much muscle, so the costume was a bit tight. However, with a couple of adjustments, She wore her outfit proudly.

The hat was too small to wear properly, so we used it more like a bandana. Honestly, I think Kidagakash loved the costume because it kept her body warm in our 7 degree F weather. She walked around acting like she was a TMNT, demanding her pizza treats and scanning the back yard for evil doing Mutant Gang ground squirrels.

I do believe we may have created a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Super Heroine. She will defend the backyard right after her snacks and a nap.
