La la la la la la The Smurfs The Complete First Season is now available on DVD! The Smurfs Complete First Season is packed with enchanted, dangerous, and fun adventures with more comedy than ever! Viewers will find snappy dialogue, joyful anarchy, irresistible charm, and a healthy dose of magic, with the cast of characters the whole world knows and loves.
This repackaged series includes all three volumes from Season One in a slipcase. Season 3 is currently airing on Nickelodeon and the theatrical animated musical is set for release this summer! The Smurfs: The Complete First Season (affiliate link) from Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon Home Entertainment is available now for the suggested retail price of $19.99.
Thanks to Nickelodeon, I got the chance to review the The Smurfs The Complete First Season and here is what I thought.
Fans, which includes me, can now watch all of season one of the Smurfs by grabbing this brand new DVD collection. It’s basically all three installments of Season 1 in a nice sleeve. Of course, because this collection contains all the episodes from Season 1, it includes my favorite episodic episodes, The Pluffs. As a refresher, these episodes turn the Smurfs on their heads when Brainy and Blossom enter an alternate universe where the Smurfs (Pluffs) are gray and mean and Gargamel, known as Caramel, is nice.
Some of the other iconic episodes included in the Complete First Season are “Where’s Papa Smurf?”, “The Curse of the Smurfs’ Treasure”, and “Leaping Lizards”. There are 23 more episodes in this collection, but I find Papa Smurf’s disappearance, a cursed treasure, and vanity’s existential crisis hilarious.

I think it is safe to say, I love this series and I give it five stars. The Smurfs the Complete First Season is a great collection with all three volumes featuring many of my favorite episodes. I really hope they release Season 2 and Season 3 this way as well!
