The brand new feature film The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run is debuting today, March 4, 2021, on Premium Video-on-Demand (PVOD), Paramount+. and other streaming services. The Spongebob Movie: Sponge on the Run is a United Plankton Pictures production. Directed and written by Tim Hill from a story by Tim Hill and Jonathan Aibel & Glenn Berger, the film features the voice talent of Tom Kenny, Awkwafina, Matt Berry, Clancy Brown, Rodger Bumpass, Bill Fagerbakke, Carolyn Lawrence, Mr. Lawrence, and Reggie Watts.

This full length feature takes fans on an exciting adventure to rescue Spongebob’s pet snail named Gary from the hands of the powerful King Poseidon. On their mission to find the Lost City of Atlanitic City to save Gary, Spongebob and his pals journey where no sponge has traveled before. Through heroic and hilarious events, Spongebob and his friends quickly learn that there is nothing stronger than the power of friendship.
