In anticipation of Vampirina: Ghoul Girls Rock! coming to DVD, I was able to get a copy to review.
The episodes included in the Vampirina: Ghoul Girls Rock! DVD are all about accepting difference, embracing what makes us unique, and learning how to be great friends. Vampirina takes popular themes to connect with their audience and teaches life lessons needed to get along with others. From the beginning my family has been a fan of this Disney Junior TV series and it is exciting to see them released on DVD.
Vampirina: Ghoul Girls Rock! includes six of their popular Vampirina episodes all about friendship and new activities. The episodes are:
However, what truly makes this Vampirina: Ghoul Girls Rock! rock is that it includes SEVEN short music videos featuring Vampirina and her friends.
The music videos are wonderful to dance to and to sing along with. However, the art takes a bit to get used to. After watching Vampirina in a more digital 3D sort of image, to watch the music videos in 2D is weird. I have seen this happen in other shows for budget purposes, it is just too bad that Vampirina did it as well.
But don’t let the art stop anyone from watching the great DVD. The art starts to grow on you and soon the whole family will be rocking out with Vampirina and her friends and learning life lessons along the way.
