Dreamworks She-Ra Princess of Power is being released tomorrow on Netflix! I am especially excited to see this series. If they do as good of a job as they did with Voltron, this is sure to be a wonderful adaptation of the classic She-ra. In anticipation of the upcoming release, Dreamworks sent out a fun She-ra kit featuring many of the characters from the new series. My family absolutely loves this kit with the buttons, crafts, tiara, character cards, and cape!

First off, this kit came in with “SHE-RA’ right on the front of the box. Already the excitement was building and everyone wanted to know what wax inside this fun colorful box. I mean, who could resist opening it? I was lucky to get a picture.

Inside was a treasure trove of items that spilled out of the box in a sparkly She-ra explosion. We found pins, collector cards, a tiara, and a fun DIY Sword of Protection craft.

Usually when kits like this arrive, they are of cheaper quality made to simply advertise the show and move on. But Dreamworks likes to take it a step above the rest with their items and make sure quality is a major factor. For example, the collector cards are on thick glossy paper about 4 times the size of a trading card. They have wonderful colorful images with interesting facts about each character on the back.

The DIY Sword of Protection craft was and is awesome. Dreamworkd provided much of the items to make the sword worthy of a princess complete with Glitter and 3D Puff Paint.
