Cubeecraft Paper Craft Inspired by Steve from A Minecraft Movie

We have all seen the news by now. A Minecraft Movie is a huge hit! From Chicken Jockey to Flint and Steel, fans have announced that this movie is number one in their gaming repertoire. The creators of A Minecraft Movie nailed so many of the game aspects. including adding a nod to the legend, Technoblade. Technoblade never dies!

To enjoy the craziness that A Minecraft Movie has created in theaters, I went with a friend to see it on the big screen. Of course, I had to write a review about the movie, but that is a whole other post. You can find the review here. Let’s just say I liked it. In fact, I liked it so much, I had to create a Cubeecraft of Steve!

I know. I know. It has been a while since I have created a Cubeecraft. And what better way to bring back the beloved square paper crafts than by showcasing the ultimate square himself, Steve. However, this is not the Steve we recognize in the Minecraft games. No…This Steve is inspired by Jack Black’s character from A Minecraft Movie.

To Build the Cubeecraft:
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife

To make:

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife Also cut around the beard so that it will stick our from the base.
  3. Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife
  4. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots you created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet. Be careful not to fold the lower part of the beard
  5. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
  6. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
  7. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.
  8. Steve is done.
