Marvel brings to life a ragtag team of outlaws, who come together to save the galaxy. This is a well used theme, but what you may not know is Guardians of the Galaxy makes it fresh and new. Comedy, amusing banter, wonderful characters and action packed scenes fill this movie with charm and entertainment. We get drawn to the dialog and character development, enthralled by their struggle and, if you are like me, start cheering them on as the movie unfolds.

Rocket is a genetically altered, cybernetically enhanced, gun-toting talking raccoon. Don’t let this furry little guy fool you, he is a master with weapons and battle tactics. Combine that with the enormous chip on his shoulder and you have one mean little creature.
Drax the destroyer lost his family when they were killed by Ronan. Now Drax, fueled by rage, seeks Ronan to feed his need for revenge.
Groot may just look like a walking tree with very low communication skills, but he is more than meets the eye. And who could not love the one sentenced speaking humanoid-tree Groot voiced by Vin Diesel? His iconic “I am Groot” certainly saturated many social media outlets bringing forth fan art and memes.
Gamora was raised to be the perfect weapon and nearly perfect assassin. But with so many killings and crimes, she seeks redemption, thus leading her to join the other misfits to save the Galaxy.
