DreamWorks Dragons: Race to the Edge is Coming to Netflix

Join Hiccup, Toothless and the Dragon Riders starting June 26th in “Dragons: Race to the Edge” exclusively on Netflix. Watch as the team learns the mysteries of the Dragon eye and discover new dragons in their all new series.

Overview:

In the new Netflix original series, Hiccup and Toothless lead the Dragon Riders as they soar beyond the borders of Berk and discover the mysterious Dragon eye — an ancient artifact filled with secrets that will lead them to new lands filled with undiscovered dragons. But the heroes find themselves pursued by marauding dragonhunters, who will stop at nothing to seize the power of the Dragon Eye. Netflix

Hiccup and toothless embark on a new discovery when they stumble upon an abandoned, booby-trapped ship. Aboard the ship, Hiccup and Toothless find a mysterious treasure with a skeleton hand wrapped around the cylinder. Not sure about what it is but knowing, “If it is on this ship, it’s no good for dragons,” Hiccup takes the item to keep it from Dagger.

With an Indiana Jones type vibe, Hiccup relaxes just a little when nothing happens after he snatches the artifact…at first. But like any archaeological discovery, danger is around every corner with flying arrows and spikes. Thanks to the heroic quick thinking of Toothless, Hiccup is able to take the artifact without losing another limb. Now the questions arise…What can it do? and is it truly unsafe for dragons?

Free Slugterra Party Printables and Crafts

There is a serious lack of Party supplies featuring all the slugs and characters from Slugterra, at least in my area. How is one supposed to have a Slugtastic party when it is so hard to find products to do so? What are we supposed to do, purchase a few realistic slugs, paint them and try to pass them off as Slugterra characters? It may actually be feasible to do that, but not in my DIY world. I do better digitally then with a paint brush. Which is why I decided to fill this gap with some wonderful Printable Slugterra Party Supplies!

Yup, I have spent a lot of time working to bring all my fellow Slugterrians FREE Slugterra Printables! Of course I would never say no to a donation. It is a lot of effort to make these and any amount keeps my blog alive.

The printables are all listed below. Simply click on the image to save the PDF. You will find:

A few Ideas for the party:

Add Blue Paper Plates, Yellow cutlery, red napkins and a green table cover to finish off the party table.

Use the Slugterra stickers to decorate packages, table cloths, and pass them out as party prizes.

Decorate the cupcakes with the cupcake wrappers and toppers.

Wrap water bottles with the drink labels to create Energy Drinks from Slugterra.

Place the place cards in front of foods with unique slugterra names. For example: make meatballs and call them Subterranean Boulders or make a yummy pistachio pudding and call it the Flopper Surprise.

Fill the Candy Pillow Boxes with treats and give them out as a good-bye gift or place them in the goodie bags.

Place a pile of Burpy masks on the party table and let each attendee take one to wear for the party.

The garland can be strung up everywhere so that everyone feels like they are in the 99 caverns where slugs reside.

Printable Paper Doll of Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

Paper Dolls by Cory has brought the heroine, Esmeralda, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame to life in his beautiful new Paper Doll. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of Paper Dolls By Cory favorite movies with its wonderful story, characters, animation, and music.

No-Bake Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes Recipe

I love Family.Disney.com! It is a great place to find fun recipes that kids will love to help make and eat. Like Disney says,

Kids are more tempted to try new foods when they are presented in a fun and attractive way

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes certainly follow through with their ideals of fun and attractive. Like food connoisseur, kids eat with their eyes first. Sometimes a blob of tuna salad just doesn’t look appealing enough to eat. But add a tomato head and olive ears to form an abstract Mickey Mouse head and you have a recipe for fun that entices the imagination and taste buds. Of course, taste is a much need factor in the equation of trying new foods. We may eat with our eyes first, but we taste with our mouths. Good thing the Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes taste delicious with the minced dill.

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes takes, at the max, 20 minutes to make. There is no cooking or baking involved! Get everything chopped and ready to go and creating them will be a breeze.

Ingredients:

1 – 5 ounce can of Organic white tuna, drained (I find these at Costco, soy free)

1/4 cup mayonnaise (homemade is the best! I have a full-proof, 30 second recipe for making mayo here: Click Me)

2 Organic scallions, thinly sliced

1 Organic rib of celery, diced

1 teaspoon minced fresh dill

10 Organic cocktail tomatoes (or large Organic cherry tomatoes)

1 small can of Organic olives, sliced (you will need 20 whole slices)

Directions:

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes can turn into Mickey Mouse Egg Tomatoes by substituting the can of Tuna with 6 chopped boiled eggs. This changes the recipe from Tuna Salad to Egg Salad.

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes recipe was found at Family.Disney.com. I made a few changes to the ingredients by picking out organic vegetables and Tuna. Also, making homemade mayonnaise is so easy and only takes 30 seconds. Adding these changes makes the meal even more healthy and better for anyone enjoying a Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomato.

Disney Descendants: “The Isle of the Lost”

Coming this summer to the Disney Channel is Descendants, a movie about the most wicked Evil Disney Villains and their offspring. The Disney Villains and their kids are imprisoned on an island, forgotten by much of the world. But four children are offered a chance to leave the island and go to school in an idyllic kingdom. Will they follow in their parents footsteps, or discover that being good may not be so bad? Featuring characters such as: Evie the Daughter of the Evil Queen, Mai the daughter of Maleficent, Carlos the son of Cruella De Vil, Jay the son of Jafar, Audrey the daughter of Sleeping Beauty, Chad the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming, Jane the daughter of the Fairy Godmother, Ben the son of Queen Belle and King Adam, Lonnie the daughter of Mulan and Shang, and Doug the son of Dopey (yes Dopey has a son).

The movie takes place after the book, “The Isle of the Lost” written by Melissa de la Cruz.

Before Descendants airs on Disney Channel, grab a copy of the book The Isle of the Lost and catch up on the story of the Evil Offspring and their adventures to get the Dragon’s Eye.

Frozen Fever Free Printables and Crafts

To make today a perfect day for you, I created several Frozen Fever printables! Getting ready for a birthday party and trying to avoid the destructive tendencies of little Snowgies can be difficult, but if Kristoff and Sven can do it, so can we! Just a few simple touches can make the party amazing! With the printables below, A Frozen Fever birthday will be a sneeze! They feature Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and the Snowgies!

How to use:

Decorate the house with the banners.

Top the cupcakes with the toppers and decorate them with the wrappers.

Use the picture frame to give out as thank you gifts or print it small and use it as a food label.

Fill the treat bags with goodies and toys as prizes or thank you gifts

The note box is great for hiding small prizes or notes. They are great at wrapping cash gifts or use in scavenger hunts.

The Pillow Candy box can be filled with small treats and handed out to the attendees of the party, or placed in goodie bags to take home.

Place the toothpick toppers on toothpicks and stick them on foods like Meatballs, sandwiches, and more to give them a Frozen Fever decor

Free Princess Palace Pets Muffin Coloring Page

Muffin is a Yellow Poodle with brown eyes and a brown nose. She also features a light blue tail, ears and tail. She wears an apple dog tag on her studded coller, blue cape and Dark Pink/red bows in her ears and tail. Her Palace Pets insignia is Dark Pink/red.

Muffin was found by the seven dwarfs in the forest. She was trying to help a small bird that had fallen. When the seven dwarfs saw her, they thought that she would make the perfect companion for Snow White. Now Snow White and Muffin go out and help all the animals that are in trouble. While their mission is very important, it is also a great way for Muffin to spend time with her best friend, Snow White. Together, they are the guardians of the woodland creatures.

Doctor Who Mr Potato Heads

I think I may have found the coolest toys known to man or at the very least, close to it. And let me just say, even though they are for ages 3 and up, that “up” part includes all adults as well. From one of the last survivors of Galli-fry to a starch nemesis ready to Extermi-tator the universe, Doctor Who Mr. Potato Heads are here for all Whovians!

I know the Daleks are supposed to be these nasty alien creatures bent on destroying anything that isn’t a Dalek, but in Potato form they are just so cute. I suppose in potato form they would not be considered this ultimate species and may have to extermi-tator themselves. If so, Dalek French fries for everyone! Then the 10th Potato Doctor can rest easy knowing the Daleks are fried.

Dalek Sec is the ultimate Extermi-tator. All other potato heads are potato chips in the vast amount of galaxy dip. Be afraid at his mighty potatoness.

The Gold Dalek is The Doctor’s “starch” nemesis that will fry you up and serve you with ketchup! Or simply Extermi-tator you to the next dimension. Whatever the case, it looks to fry the universe in hot oil…I bet that would smell good for a split second.

This is a big ball of wibbly wobbly…timey wimey…mashed potato stuff! The last known survivor of “Galli-Fry”, The tenth doctor, looks to save the universe from being fried for the weekend bbq. Speeding through time, The Doctor completes half baked plans and saves Earth. But when his potato life comes an end, The Doctor states he doesn’t want to go.

Each of these potato heads can be purchased from Amazon.com. They all feature special Doctor Who Pieces related to their character. Dalek Sec and the Gold Dalek have interchangeable Dalek head pieces featuring one with eyes and one without eyes. The tenth Doctor comes with his iconic messy hair, red shoes and sonic screwdriver. Now go have some wibbly wobbly timey wimey fun.

Free Coloring Page Featuring a Flopper from Slugterra

Floppers are known throughout the 99 caverns as the most useless slugs in Slugterra. In fact Pronto describes them as, “boneless, dimwitted powerless waste of space |and they| are the embarrassment of the slug species.” The sad thing is, Pronto may be right, because when a slug is called a “Flopper” (a derogatory word to describe something useless in combat), they take offense. However, Eli Shane believes otherwise noting that, “all slugs are useful. Even Floppers.” To Promto’s surprise, Eli has found great uses for floppers including a blinding technique, a slippery mess and the fact that they can stretch to extreme lengths.

The Flopper slug looks more like a booger in color and design. It is light olive green in color with dark olive green eye patches and stomach. The Flopper slug doesn’t have a velocimorph form making it rather usless in battle. It does however, splatter like a bug on a windshield once it hits something at 100 mph.

The Flopper doesn’t have a Velocimorph form but there are fans that believe the Flopper has a unique attack if aimed correctly.
