Disney Snow White Printables, Coloring Pages and Activities

Snow white is Disney’s first animated feature film and the first Disney Princess. The character Snow White is a kind and gentle person who sees no evil in the world. Her beauty shines and she is known as “the most fairest of all.” Her Evil Queen Stepmother is jealous of her beauty and orders her killed. However, the hunter left in charge of this task, tells Snow White to run because he couldn’t kill her.
With the help of her forest friends, Snow White finds the cottage of the Seven Dwarfs. She decides to remain there until her prince comes to take her away.

Amazon has an Exclusive X-Men: Days of Future Past Blu-Ray Set

The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original “X-Men” film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from “X-Men: First Class,” in an epic battle that must change the past – to save our future. (X-Men)

After watching the epic battle of past and future, I knew I wanted this movie to complete my collection. I have to admit, anything with Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart will always be on my top need/want list.

While the movie is still in theaters and has yet to be released on Blu-Ray or DVD, Amazon has listed a pre-order for their Amazon Exclusive set, which comes with a prop/memorabilia (see image below).

To pre-order a copy of this epic movie or get more information on this Amazon exclusive, click the link below.

X-Men: Days of Future Past (Amazon Exclusive) [Blu-ray]

I personally can’t wait for this exclusive to join my collection. Time just can’t move fast enough. I suppose, to help alleviate the excitement, I will have to see the movie in theaters a couple more times.

Disney Pinocchio Cubeecraft Papercraft

In 1940 Disney released it’s second animated film Pinocchio. This little puppet was brought to life by the Blue Fairy after Geppetto wished on a star. However, before Pinocchio can be changed to a real boy, he must be brave, loyal, and honest. With the help of Jiminy Cricket, Pinocchio begins his adventures.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After I received a request to make a Pinocchio Cubeecraft, my adventure began. With such an iconic character, I had to be sure that even at a glance, fans would be able to recognize this character in cubeecraft form. There were two things that needed to be considered.
  1. Pinocchio has a long nose even before he lies. I had to decide it I wanted the nose to actually protrude from the face or be drawn on the face.
  2. This character has a weird shaped hat that needed to be attached to Pinocchio’s head.
After making several templates of the face, I chose to draw the nose on the cubeecraft. This decision not only makes it look a little cleaner but also makes the formation of the cubeecraft a little easier.
The hat, however, was slightly more difficult. I wanted the hat to be attached to the cubeecraft and not a separate piece. To do so, I had to recreate the cubeecraft head with a hat template connected. I think that took the longest because I had to pull in my mathematics background to figure out the lengths and widths of the sides of each triangle. Who knew I would actually use Sin, Cos, and Tan while drawing a Disney character? Sometimes I am so glad I took Trigonometry in school. 😀
After both choices were completed, I was able to finish this request and create a quick look.
CUBEECRAFT:
Disney Movies Anywhere premiere of Radiator Springs 500 1/2
Race into summer with the Disney Movies Anywhere premiere of Radiator Springs 500 1/2. The all-new Disney-Pixar short is available for free, and is an exciting first installment in the “Tales from Radiator Springs” series. Just download Disney Movies Anywhere app for iPhone or iPad to watch Radiator Springs 500 1/2 now!
Featuring Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen and directed by Rob Gibbs (“Mater’s Tall Tales”), Radiator Springs 500 1/2 tells the story of a “leisurely drive” planned in honor of Radiator Springs’ town founder, Stanley, which turns precarious as Baja pros descend on the town and challenge Lightning McQueen to an off-road race. Meanwhile, the townsfolk, led by a Stanley-costumed Mater, enjoy the planned “leisurely drive” to retrace Stanley’s original frontier route. Thinking they’re on the same course, a wrong turn sends McQueen and the Baja pros on a treacherously wild bid for survival. The misunderstanding leaves the racing professionals in awe of the “legend” of Stanley: the Original Off-Road Racer
Check out the preview to Radiator Springs 500 1/2
I have always loved the Cars inspired shorts. Mater does the craziest stuff and at the end it leaves the audience thinking, “did he really do that?” In this new series Radiator Springs, Mater is still up to his old antics. However, in Radiator Springs 500 1/2 it is more of misdirection than UFOs or the Twin Girls.
To add an extra laugh, several puns are used throughout the short. There are so many in this episode that I couldn’t help but laugh. See if you can catch them all as you watch the film.
We know the story, but there is more. From what I have seen in the Trailer, it looks as if all our unanswered questions of who is Maleficent, why she was so angry and how she became an epic Disney villain are about to be answered. With Angelina portraying Maleficent, I would say it looks to be an exciting film full of action as well as the much needed background stories. What do you think? Will you be seeing this movie May 30?
Cubeecraft of Cheburashka with #CubeeFollowMeEyes
After watching an Episode of Cheburashka, I fell in love with the little character. He is so cute with his Teddy Bear like Body and really big ears. It isn’t a wonder on how the Cheburashka became so popular. In fact many of my readers fell in love with my Cheburashka cubeecraft.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I figured if everyone liked him sitting there on their desks and tables, why not make one with the new feature I created for the cubeecrafts: the Cubee-Follow-Me-Eyes (#CubeeFollowMeEyes).

As seen in the video above, as the cubeecraft is rotated the eyes follow the watcher. However, unlike the Achmed Cubeecraft with the Cubee-Follow-Me-Eyes, the Cheburashka keeps his cuteness. Many times I just want to pick him up and hug him. I have to remind myself that it is paper and therefore, crushes easily.

Warning: These are not simple to create. The eyes of the cubeecraft must be carefully cut out and the insert must be placed in at the right angle for this to work. Follow the instructions and please be very patient when creating the Cubee-Follow-Me-Eyes. When all is done correctly the cubeecraft’s eyes will look like they follow those who look at him. See the nimated Gif below or the Video above.

CUBEECRAFT:
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife

To make:

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife
  3. Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife including the long ones on each side of the head. Be careful not to cut to far.
  4. Cut out the eyes where indicated.
  5. Fold along each inner solid line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the body, arms, and feet. Each tab should slide into the corresponding white line holes.
  6. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
  7. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body (he should look like he is sitting)
    The Head (see image for help)
  8. (1) Put together the head but leave the top up like a lid.
  9. (2) Fold the insert along the black line with the eyes facing out.
  10. (3) Place the insert in the head. The bottom of the insert should be up against the corner of the cubeecraft. The tab on the end of the insert needs to slide through the back tab of the head so that the insert stays in place.
  11. (4) Close the head.
  12. Fold the ears in half color sides facing out
  13. Slide the ears on either side of the head. The shaded side of the ears should be facing front.
  14. Slide the completed body into the red slots on the base of the head.

One grand prize winner’s Boxtroll will be brought to life as a real puppet by LAIKA artists, and other Box-tastic prizes are available!
THE BOXTROLLS releases in theaters on September 26!

Check out the instructional video here:

After watching the video I had to make my own Boxtroll. Once I went to the site I had to scroll Down, Down, Down to finally get low enough where the Boxtrolls live. There I drew my box and began making my troll. It was fun to check out all the features and make my own label for Fairy Sweet. I clicked on The head, arms, and legs to change the color of the skin, add accessories and change their size by sliding the bar at the top of the screen. I then clicked the box to add a label; I used the already made labels. I then changed the labels color and typed Butterfly Sweets because they are all natural. 😀

SKGaleana’s Boxtroll: Fairy Sweet

So go ahead, dare to be square and build your own Boxtroll at TheBoxtrolls.com now! Be sure to take a snip it of your photo and share them in the comments below. I would love to see everyone’s creations 😀

    Disney is Making a Live Action Cinderella Movie

    ea0fca40d5563395a567760d3e37165d64fdc542

    I am a Disney Geek, which is obvious by all the printables and cubeecrafts I have made. Somehow I missed the update that Disney was making a new movie to be released in March 2015. Well, I missed it until today.

    I opened my email to find this Beautiful Glass Slipper. My jaw dropped. Could it be? Could they be making a Live Action Disney movie of Cinderella. With my heart thumping, I quickly clicked on the image. I am transported to the world of reflective colors and glass. A smile stretched across my face as the screen zoomed out and a Glass slipper sparkled on my screen.

    I still had to be sure what I saw was in fact live action and not a new animated feature. Reading the small comment below the trailer the words “Live Action” lingered. FINALLY! To my surprise that word escaped my lips and my whole family wanted to know what “finally” happened. I think we played the trailer at least 6 times.

    Watch it here:

    Story from the official Disney Cinderella website:

      “The story of “Cinderella” follows the fortunes of young Ella (Lily James) whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home. But, when Ella’s father unexpectedly passes away, she finds herself at the mercy of a jealous and cruel new family. Finally relegated to nothing more than a servant girl covered in ashes, and spitefully renamed Cinderella, Ella could easily begin to lose hope. Yet, despite the cruelty inflicted upon her, Ella is determined to honor her mother’s dying words and to “have courage and be kind.” She will not give in to despair nor despise those who mistreat her. And then there is the dashing stranger she meets in the woods. Unaware that he is really a prince, not merely an apprentice at the Palace, Ella finally feels she has met a kindred soul. It appears her fortunes may be about to change when the Palace sends out an open invitation for all maidens to attend a ball, raising Ella’s hopes of once again encountering the charming Kit (Richard Madden). Alas, her stepmother forbids her to attend and callously rips apart her dress. But, as in all good fairy tales, help is at hand, and a kindly beggar woman (Helena Bonham-Carter) steps forward and – armed with a pumpkin and a few mice – changes Cinderella’s life forever.”

    After seeing the shoe and the Video, I had to make at least one printable. So I made a treat bag featuring the beautiful Glass Slipper. 😀 I have also included the printable Cinderella Cubeecrafts I made. Hopefully these printables will keep my our excitement in check as we wait for the Cinderella Release.
