Christmas Teddy Bear Cubeecrafts in Red, Blue, Green and Purple Santa Coats

These teddy bears are certainly ready for the winter Weather. Bundled in a Santa Coat and Eskimo hood, they are cute enough to snuggle (not recommended, they are made out of paper after all).

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
These cubeecrafts are an excellent activity for the kids on Christmas Eve. Their excitement can be focused on creating something to display for Santa or bump up the decor. They can have your choice in color (red, green, Blue or Purple) You can either have these ready to be folded and made, or if they are older kids you can have them cut them out with adult supervision. I would still recommend an adult using the x-acto knife for the small cuts that need to be made.
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife
To make:
  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab and the ears using the x-acto knife
  3. Cut along each gray lines using the x-acto knife
  4. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet
  5. Slide the arms through the gray slots on either side of the body.
  6. Slide the feet through the gray slots on the front of the body.
  7. Slide the now completed body through the gray slots of the head.
Burton “Gus” Guster Cubeecraft from the TV Show Psych
On December, 15 2013 The tv show Psych will debut their first ever Musical.
In my last blog I released the Shawn Spencer Cubeecraft. This blog is in Honor of Gus. Shawn would be nothing with out his partner Gus. In fact there was an episode where they tried it on there own and failed miserably. That being said, Gus is a required partner, a Yin to Shawn’s Yang. I couldn’t just create a Shawn Cubeecraft, Gus had to join the party.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

In honor of the Psych the Musical, I have created Psych cubeecrafts. Today’s cubeecraft release is of Burton “Gus” Guster (Dulรฉ Hill). I placed him in his Purple shirt and light slacks.

Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife

To make:

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife

Cubeecraft of Shawn Spencer from the TV Show Psych

On December, 15 2013 The tv show Psych will debut their first ever Musical. We already know from past episodes that Gus has a musical background and the Shawn has always wanted a musical background. Their voices are actually quite good and their performance should be hilarious.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I have been a big fan of this tv show since 2006 when the job of Psychic fell into Shawn’s lap by accident when he had to lie to the police to avoid being incarcerated. Along the way he drags his best friend into the mix. At first Gus resists, but eventually goes along with it. We find out in later episodes that none of this would probably happen without Gus. They are two peas in a pod.
A lot has happened during the seasons, from mind twisting clues to finding dinosaur bones. As soon as Dec 15th hits they can also scratch musical off their Bucket List.
In honor of the Psych the Musical, I have created Psych cubeecrafts. Today’s cubeecraft release is of Shawn Spencer (James Roday). I placed him in his Iconic green shirt and dark jeans. Burton (Gus) Guster will be released within the next few days.
Uncle Iroh Cubeecraft from Avatar The Last Airbender ATLA
Iroh was an easy going man who many times appeared to not have a care in the world. But as you watch the tv series Avatar the Last airbender, his character develops and expands into one of the most deep and understanding characters. By appearance one would never know the true power Iroh had and the skill he had towards fire bending. His wisdom often sounded more like statements of a crazy man rather than cryptic messages and lessons.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After the loss of his son in a war against the earth benders, Iroh no longer wanted to be a man of war. Instead of seeking revenge, he began seeking peace and understanding. This attitude change allowed Ozai to take advantage of his so-called weakness and take the throne as Fire Lord Ozai. Iroh would later follow Zuko in banishment and become a traitor to the fire nation as he helped Team Avatar on their quest.
Iroh did his best to help guide Zuko on a path separate from the family and allowed Zuko to make his own decisions, supporting his choices and being more like a father to Zuko that Ozai ever was.
Even tho I find Iroh to be a wise character full of love for his nephew, he can also be an idiot. His love for tea at one point gets him in trouble when he drinks a poisonous plant and requires assistance. Delectable tea or deadly poison?
Once ATLA ended I thought I would never see Iroh again, but Avatar Legend of Korra introduce him in the spirit world. When he first appeared to help little Korra in the spirit world, I have to admit I was giddy with excitement. If The creators of Korra (Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko) needed to bring back a character from the original series, Iroh was indeed the best choice. who best to advise and assist the Avatar than a man with a deep connection to the Spirit World?
I can write an entire essay on the character of Iroh, his significance, and how his past shaped him. However, You came to this blog post for one of my most prized cubeecrafts. ๐Ÿ˜€
In this cubeecraft I wanted to catch the kindness, but also the sadness he has in his eyes. I chose the Earth Kingdom clothes because he just appeared more confortable in that area of the Avatar world. I may at a later date create a cubeecraft of him in his White Lotus clothes. That battle was epic and you really get to see just how powerful Iroh really is.
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife
To make:
1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife
3. Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife
Cubeecraft of Elsa from Disney’s Animated Movie Frozen
Elsa, the Disney Snow Queen, is defiantly one of the more complicated characters. Her fear for her powers and for the life of her people only makes her powers more uncontrollable. Isolating herself into a lonely existence to avoid making those around her suffer. Her brain has to be an emotional roller coaster as she struggles with her powers, the fear, her kingdom, and its people. Unfortunately her emotions bring forth the next ice age, and Elsa is at a loss of what to do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Elsa Character:
“From the outside, Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel) looks poised, regal and reserved, but in reality, she lives in fear as she wrestles with a mighty secretโ€”she was born with the power to create ice and snow. It’s a beautiful ability, but also extremely dangerous. Haunted by the moment her magic nearly killed her younger sister Anna, Elsa has isolated herself, spending every waking minute trying to suppress her growing powers. Her mounting emotions trigger the magic, accidentally setting off an eternal winter that she can’t stop. She fears she’s becoming a monster and that no one, not even her sister, can help her.” (Frozen)

The dress I chose to create the Elsa cubeecraft paper toy is her snowflake dress. It is a blue dress with beautiful embellishments. The second part of her dress is decorated with snowflakes and free flowing.

This Cubeecraft has two parts, and you will need both to complete it.
