Yummy Rice Crispy Pup-Tastic Treat Recipe

I have more awesomeness to share inspired by PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Super Paws! First we have a giveaway, second some fun printables and a nice little review, now we have a fun rice crispy treat the kids will love.

With just three ingredients and a bone cookie cutter these treats almost look like dog treats….almost. FYI, these are for human consumption. Not for dogs or super puppies.

The three ingredients are:

  • 3 Cups Crispy Rice Cereal
  • 2 Tablespoons Butter plus extra for greasing
  • 5 Ounces Marshmallows

To make these rice crispy treats simply mix the ingredients together and place the mixture on a greased sheet. Then it’s time to cut out the bone shapes. Once completed we can encourage the kids to perform tricks to earn the yummy morsels of marshmallowy goodness. I wonder if I can get one of them to sit and shake hahahaha.

PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Super Paws is Alliteration Fun!

Today PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Super Paws is out on DVD! In this DVD collection we get 6 mighty action episodes of pups saving the day! Like Chase says, “these mighty paws uphold the laws!” Whether it is naughty super kittens, a lady bird thief, the threat of a frozen town, or meeting new superheroes, these Mighty Pups are ready for action.

With the PAW Patrol Mighty Pups Super Paws DVD Giveaway up and running on my blog, I thought it would be wise to also do a review on the DVD. Besides, who wouldn’t want to watch adorable puppies save the day.

The Paw Patrol Pups help citizens when they are needed, From washing cars to being a helping hands, helping is their way. In this 6 episode collection, they get super powers to help them save the town.

The six episodes are:

  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: When Super Kitties Attack
  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: Pups Meet the Mighty Twins
  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: Pups Save a Giant Chicken
  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: Pups Stop Harold’s Deep Freeze
  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: Pups and the Big Twin Trick
  • MIGHTY PUPS SUPER PAWS: Pups Save a Mega Mayor

Each episode features problems that must be solved, towns people that need help, and usually an eccentric villain that thinks only of them-self. For example, in “When Super Kitties Attack”, we have 5 kitties that get superpowers. Unlike the pups who use their powers for good, these kitties only think of themselves. They steal tuna, cows, and fish. It takes the Paw Patrol team to come up with several plans to retrieve the stolen goods and stop the kitties from causing more trouble. Teamwork, problem solving skills, and hard work help them save the day.

I love the fact that these cartoons encourage the helping of others, teamwork, problem solving, and fun. Every episode shows that no problem is too big and no pup is too small. It is a great series for any kid and even fun for the adults.

\I especially enjoyed every fun alliteration placed throughout the episodes. What is an alliteration? Learning moment! An alliteration is the same letter or sound at the beginning of consecutive words, usually in 3 or more. For example, Lady Bird uses one when she sees a statue of a chicken, “A Glorious Glittering Golden Chicken.” All those Gs make up the alliteration. Now here is a fun game…how many can you find in the 6 episodes?

I totally give this DVD 5 stars. It is a fun and exciting collection that encourages the best in all of us. And who doesn’t love all the alliterations?

Cute Craft & Recipe for Avatar: The Last Airbender

Show of hands, who is binge watching Avatar the Last Airbender right now? Ok, so I may not be able to see all the hands raised, but I am sure there are a lot of us out there watching now that Avatar the Last Airbender is out on Steelbook.

Of course, to celebrate all the Appa cuteness, Sokka weirdness, and moodiness of all the fire nation members, Nickelodeon has given us fans a craft and recipe to create and enjoy. We can paint elemental rock patterns to decorate our surroundings or we can make the cutest Appa cookies ever.

The rock craft will require: 4 Flat rocks, green, red, blue, and white paint, and a paintbrush.
The Appa cookies will require: cookies, pink and black candy melts, Chocolate taffy (tootsie rolls), Candy eyes, vanilla frosting,black food coloring, and an icing bag with grass frosting tip.

Celebrate 2020 with Family Disney’s New Year Printables!

We can celebrate 2020 with some of our favorite Disney Characters this year thanks to Disney Family! We can decorate for New Year’s Day and create a calander to celebrate the whole year with fun Disney art!

How? …Well that is the easy part!

Disney Family has provided a couple of fun printable PDFs that we fans can print and create. The best part is that these files are free and fun!

The first printable is a 2020 New Years Day banner featuring Mickey, Minnie, Daisy, and Donald. Simply print the pages, cut out the shapes, puncture holes in the tops, string them, and display.
