Doctor Who Mr Potato Heads

I think I may have found the coolest toys known to man or at the very least, close to it. And let me just say, even though they are for ages 3 and up, that “up” part includes all adults as well. From one of the last survivors of Galli-fry to a starch nemesis ready to Extermi-tator the universe, Doctor Who Mr. Potato Heads are here for all Whovians!

I know the Daleks are supposed to be these nasty alien creatures bent on destroying anything that isn’t a Dalek, but in Potato form they are just so cute. I suppose in potato form they would not be considered this ultimate species and may have to extermi-tator themselves. If so, Dalek French fries for everyone! Then the 10th Potato Doctor can rest easy knowing the Daleks are fried.

Dalek Sec is the ultimate Extermi-tator. All other potato heads are potato chips in the vast amount of galaxy dip. Be afraid at his mighty potatoness.

The Gold Dalek is The Doctor’s “starch” nemesis that will fry you up and serve you with ketchup! Or simply Extermi-tator you to the next dimension. Whatever the case, it looks to fry the universe in hot oil…I bet that would smell good for a split second.

This is a big ball of wibbly wobbly…timey wimey…mashed potato stuff! The last known survivor of “Galli-Fry”, The tenth doctor, looks to save the universe from being fried for the weekend bbq. Speeding through time, The Doctor completes half baked plans and saves Earth. But when his potato life comes an end, The Doctor states he doesn’t want to go.

Each of these potato heads can be purchased from Amazon.com. They all feature special Doctor Who Pieces related to their character. Dalek Sec and the Gold Dalek have interchangeable Dalek head pieces featuring one with eyes and one without eyes. The tenth Doctor comes with his iconic messy hair, red shoes and sonic screwdriver. Now go have some wibbly wobbly timey wimey fun.

Free Coloring Page Featuring a Flopper from Slugterra

Floppers are known throughout the 99 caverns as the most useless slugs in Slugterra. In fact Pronto describes them as, “boneless, dimwitted powerless waste of space |and they| are the embarrassment of the slug species.” The sad thing is, Pronto may be right, because when a slug is called a “Flopper” (a derogatory word to describe something useless in combat), they take offense. However, Eli Shane believes otherwise noting that, “all slugs are useful. Even Floppers.” To Promto’s surprise, Eli has found great uses for floppers including a blinding technique, a slippery mess and the fact that they can stretch to extreme lengths.

The Flopper slug looks more like a booger in color and design. It is light olive green in color with dark olive green eye patches and stomach. The Flopper slug doesn’t have a velocimorph form making it rather usless in battle. It does however, splatter like a bug on a windshield once it hits something at 100 mph.

No Bake Sleepy’s Quick Energy Nuggets Recipe

Unearth a gem in the kitchen with this no-bake “Sleepy’s Quick Energy Nuggets” inspired from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. To work all day in the mines requires a lot of energy, something Sleepy struggles with on a daily basis. Let’s face it, he didn’t get his name for being the most active of the bunch. But Sleepy found a solution to get quick burst of energy to help his fellow dwarfs find beautiful gems in the mines. And to be honest, these are much better to keep a Dwarf awake than a deer kicking his cart. These No-Bake nuggets take no time to make so Sleepy can Heigh Ho it to the mine without wasting any time.

The No-Bake Energy Nuggets are also very delicious and make a great snack for any human. With simple ingredients and instructions, the whole family can make and enjoy these yummy Nuggets. They are also travel size for our convenience.

Note: If someone has an allergy to peanut butter don’t fret, this recipe can still be made by replacing the peanut butter with 2 more marshmallows.

Here are the kitchen supplies needed to make this recipe:

  • Plate
  • wax paper
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 small bowl
  • 1 saucepan
  • Spoon to stir a hot mixture

    • Ingredients to make the “Sleepy’s Quick Energy Nuggets”:

    • 1 1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs
    • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)
    • 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
    • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
    • 5 marshmallows
    • M&M candies

    Directions:

  • Cover a plate with waxed paper. Then, measure 1 cup of the graham cracker crumbs into a mixing bowl and the remaining 1/4 cup into a small bowl. Add the mini chocolate chips (if you’re using them) to the large bowl of crumbs. Set the plate and both bowls aside for now.
  • Heat the peanut butter, raspberry jam, and marshmallows in a small saucepan over medium-low heat, stirring continually, just until the mixture melts and becomes a smooth sauce.
  • Remove the pan from the heat and stir the sauce into the cup of graham cracker crumbs.
  • Using clean hands, roll a tablespoon of the crumb mixture into a ball. Then roll the ball in the reserved crumbs and set it on the waxed paper. Repeat this step with the rest of the crumb mixture.
  • Gently push an M&M down into the center of each ball. Makes 12.

    Free Jurassic World Printables, Activities and Crafts!

    Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World stomping into theaters June 12, 2015. This long-awaited installment comes 22 years after the original Jurassic Park disaster. Isla Nublar is now a full functioning Park, just as John Hammond had dreamed…if not better…sparing no expense. with more than 20,000 visitors a day, the park is a total success featuring safaris, zoos, and even a biological preserve. Much like a Disney Land Theme Park, visitors can say in wonderful themed hotels, visit delectable restaurants and enjoy all that the island has to offer, including dinosaurs.

    This theme of vacationing at a dinosaur park doesn’t stay relative to the movie. Instead, viewers like us can immerse ourselves into the fun that Jurassic World has to offer, check out the sites, learn about dinosaurs and Plan Our Visit on JurassicWorld.com/. With so much fun, how can the island not be worth the money to visit? or the better question is, do you really want to take a vacation on an island with a poor history record?

    As a Huge Fan of the original Jurassic Park, I personally cannot wait for Jurassic World to make its debut. They do say all good things are worth waiting for, but sometimes I wish I could make a time machine and go forward in time to see a movie. While Star Wars: The Force Awakens is number one on my list, Jurassic Park is second 😀 However, like so many others, the object of time travel eludes me, so I must wait.

    Free Princess Palace Pets Fern Coloring Page

    Fern is a Pink Owl with pretty purple eyes, a light pink tail and a lavender bow. She has pink bangs and a gold tiara. She also features a Gold Paw print on her side. Fern is one of the more unique Princess Palace Pets. As of right now, she is the only Owl.

    Unlike most owls, Fern prefers to sleep during the night. While looking for a quiet and comfortable place to sleep, Fern flies into Aurora’s room. Amused by Fern’s little quirk, Aurora invited Fern to stay in the castle. Of course she agrees and become great friends with Aurora. Now she explores the castle’s secret towers.

    Grow Your Own Celery From a Store Bought Stalk

    As a City Girl who has just recently moved to the sticks, I have been learning a lot about living off the land and making items by hand. I think the most drastic change in my life is probably my take in gardening. I used to purchased what I needed from a store, tossed what I didn’t use or need, and went on with life. However, with this complete 180 degree turn, I am learning all about what I have sadly tossed in the past.

    I have always bought organic foods. It is important to feed my family healthy foods but did you know organic foods have another use?. What we normally throw away can actually be reused. I am not talking about compost, which is also a great idea, I am talking about organic vegetables actually growing from what we find useless. Still confused? Let me put it this way…Did you know that Organic Celery is this magical plant that can keep reproducing ribs of celery to constantly feed your family or yourself? It is almost like it has an endless supply of celery from one base of the stalk. And to think all these years I have been throwing away the bottom thinking it is useless.

    I figured out that celery actually regrows by accident. I noticed little leaves coming out of my celery base that I kept in the refrigerator. I leave the ribs on it and harvest as I need them. Turns out, little leaves were starting to pop up from the base. Curious, I did what any person with internet would so, I researched this phenomenon. To my surprise I found out that organic celery regrows and is pretty simple to handle and care for. Who Knew, right?

    So with some major research behind my belt, I began the task of attempting to grow celery from my stalk. (Be ready, if you do this, everyone in your family is going to want to get involved. It is almost magical watching the plant nearly sprout overnight. And I can guarantee the children and adults will be in awe every morning they wake up to find the plant larger than before.)

    What we need to grow celery:

      The End of an organic Celery stalk
      Celery Cut here
      A bowl
      Water
      pot
      soil

    Step 1: Place the Bottom of the stalk in the bowl

    Step 2: Fill the bowl with water until it reaches halfway up the stalk.

    Step 3: Leave it in the window where it will get a lot of sun light. Over night there will be a transformation as the plant sprouts cute little leaves and begins growing. There was so much excitement every morning in my house as we watched the celery grow.

    Step 4: Every other day or so, refresh the water with new water. Celery is a very hungry plant and will want new water. As it is loved and receives the sunlight, it grows very fast sprouting mores leaves and even growing up forming ribs of the stalk.

    Growing your own Celery

    Step 5: After 3 or 4 weeks, the celery is going to need a more substantial place to live and will need to be placed in a pot or in the soil outside. Right now my plant is in a pot. I live pretty far north and didn’t want to kill my plant since we are still seeing freezing temperatures at night. However, when the weather gets warmer, I will be planting it in the garden.

    It is pretty easy to plant the celery. Simply get some soil and a pot (really, any container that can drain is perfect. I have seen people plant these in coffee cans after they drilled holes in the bottom of the can). Fill the pot with soil 2/3 of the way up. Place the celery in the center of the pot and cover the stalk with soil. Leave the new ribs and leaves sticking out of the dirt. Water it when the soil feels dry to keep the celery thriving. Like I have said before, Celery is a hungry plant and loves water.

    My family now has 3 of these growing. Every celery stalk we buy will be planted. Eventually we will have enough celery growing to supply the family and we won’t have to buy it anymore. The best part is, these are amazing to watch as they grow. They take very little work and give back in abundance. Now I am on the look out to see if any other vegetables or fruits that I buy and toss will regrow. Let the search begin.
