Watch the trailer for clips and previews of the 12 included short films.

This extraordinary new collection of award-winning and beloved short films feature groundbreaking shorts with many of our favorite characters such as Anna, Elsa, Rapunzel, Mickey Mouse, and more. This must-own collection also comes with all-new extras including an inside look at the Disney Animation shorts, featuring introductions and interviews with the acclaimed filmmakers themselves as well as a Short Story on Shorts ad the DMA Debut of Runaway Brain (1995).

Below is a list of each Disney Short Film featured in this all new collection along with a brief synopsis of each beloved film. Which film is your favorite?

1. FROZEN FEVER (2015):
In “Frozen Fever,” it’s Anna’s birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but when Elsa catches a cold, her powers may put more than just the party at risk.

2. FEAST (2014):
“Feast” is the story of one man’s love life as seen through the eyes of his best friend and dog, Winston, and revealed bite by bite through the meals they share.

3. GET A HORSE! (2013):
Featuring Walt Disney himself as the voice of Mickey Mouse, “Get A Horse!” follows Mickey, his favorite gal pal Minnie Mouse (voice of Marcellite Garner) and their friends Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow as they delight in a musical hay wagon ride—until Peg-Leg Pete (voice of Billy Bletcher) shows up and tries to run them off the road. With both classic black-and-white, hand-drawn animation and up-to-the-minute technical wizardry (often in the same frame), this groundbreaking short takes a sharp turn when Mickey finds himself separated from Minnie and must use every trick up his sleeve to find his way back to her.

4. PAPERMAN (2012):
Introducing a groundbreaking technique that seamlessly merges computer-generated and hand-drawn animation techniques, first-time director John Kahrs takes the art of animation in a bold new direction with “Paperman.” Using a minimalist black-and-white style, the short follows the story of a lonely young man in mid-century New York City, whose destiny takes an unexpected turn after a chance meeting with a beautiful woman on his morning commute. Convinced the girl of his dreams is gone forever, he gets a second chance when he spots her in a skyscraper window across the avenue from his office. With only his heart, imagination and a stack of papers to get her attention, his efforts are no match for what the fates have in store for him. Created by a small, innovative team working at Walt Disney Animation Studios, “Paperman” pushes the animation medium in an exciting new direction.

5. TANGLED EVER AFTER (2011)
By popular demand, Greno and Howard are bringing back some of Disney’s most beloved characters when “Tangled Ever After” picks up where “Tangled” left off. The Kingdom is in a festive mood as everyone gathers for the royal wedding of Rapunzel and Flynn. However, when Pascal and Maximus, as flower chameleon and ring bearer, respectively, lose the gold bands, a frenzied search and recovery mission gets underway. As the desperate duo tries to find the rings before anyone discovers that they’re missing, they leave behind a trail of comical chaos that includes flying lanterns, a flock of doves, a wine barrel barricade and a very sticky finale. Will Maximus and Pascal save the day and make it to the church in time? And will they ever get Flynn’s nose right?

6. THE BALLAD OF NESSIE (2011):
Set in the “bonny blue highlands” of Scotland, “The Ballad of Nessie” is a whimsical and colorful tall tale about the friendly Loch Ness monster, Nessie, and how she and her best friend MacQuack the rubber duck came to live in the moor they now call home. Setting the adventure into motion is a greedy land developer named MacFroogle, who decides to build a mini-golf empire on top of Nessie’s home.

7. TICK TOCK TALE (2010):
Time is running out when an antique clock shop is ransacked and robbed, leaving the fate of the kidnapped clocks in the small hands of an outcast who seems a little cuckoo. Walt Disney Animation Studios’ computer-animated short film transports audiences to the foggy streets of Victorian London for this comedic tale of an underdog who – in the nick of time – uses his imperfection to achieve something extraordinary.

8. PREP & LANDING: OPERATION: SECRET SANTA (2010):
“Prep & Landing: Operation: Secret Santa” follows the further comic adventures of Santa’s stealthiest elves, Lanny and Wayne (who debuted the previous year in the Emmy® Award-winning ABC-TV special). With Christmas only a few short days away, Mrs. Claus (voiced by Betty White) and Magee (Sarah Chalke) enlist Wayne (Dave Foley) and Lanny (Derek Richardson) on a secret mission to retrieve a mysterious item hidden deep within the office of Santa Claus! Can the intrepid duo acquire the target in time, or will they be discovered by the Big Guy (Morgan Sheppard) and doomed to placement on the Naughty List?

9. HOW TO HOOK UP YOUR HOME THEATER (2007):
Disney’s beloved animated “everyman,” Goofy, returned to the big screen for the first time in 42 years to entertain and educate viewers about the challenges of modern technology and following directions when it comes to hooking up a home entertainment system. The enthusiastic but clueless Goofy is confronted by a huge instruction “manual,” and has to deal with a gargantuan universal remote as he tries to install a new home theater in time to enjoy the big game.

10. THE LITTLE MATCHGIRL (2006):
Hans Christian Andersen’s classic tale about a poor young girl whose burning desire to find comfort and happiness comes to life through the magic of rich hand-drawn Disney animation in this powerful and inventive short film directed by Roger Allers (“The Lion King”). Desperate to keep warm, the girl lights the matches she sells and envisions a very different life for herself in the fiery flames filled with images of loving relatives, bountiful food and a place to call home. Set to the music of composer Alexander Borodin’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major (Third Movement: Notturno (Andante), in an exciting new recording by the six-time Grammy Award-winning Emerson String Quartet, the film tells a captivating and emotional tale.

11. LORENZO (2004):
Walt Disney Pictures delivered one of its most artistically adventurous and exciting short films with the Oscar® nominated “Lorenzo.” Directed by Mike Gabriel (co-director on “Pocahontas,” “The Rescuers Down Under”), who also created the original story and served as production designer, this colorful animated romp centers on a pompous, pampered cat named Lorenzo who faces cat-astrophic consequences when his tail is hexed and develops a lively personality of its own. The film is based on an original idea by legendary Disney writer/artist Joe Grant, who designed the Witch/Queen character for “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” co-wrote “Dumbo,” and worked at Disney until he was nearly 97 years old. Giving the film its terrific tempo is a tantalizing tango entitled “Bordoneo y 900,” performed by the internationally renowned Juan Jose Mosalini and his Big Tango Orchestra. The film, which combines traditional animation with innovative CG techniques, was animated in France by a team of top artists. Roy E. Disney (“Fantasia/2000,” “Destino”) and Don Hahn (“Beauty and the Beast,” “The Lion King,” “The Haunted Mansion”) exece produced the film, while Baker Bloodworth closely guided the creative and technical teams in Paris and Burbank in his role as producer.

12. JOHN HENRY (2000):
Imaginatively told through words, music, and stylish visuals, “John Henry” celebrates the life and legend of a great American folk hero. As viewed through the eyes of his widow, Polly, the film explores Henry’s tall tale adventures as he challenges a powerful steam drill in a climactic confrontation of man versus machine. The nine-minute film marked the directing debut of veteran Disney animator Mark Henn, one of the industry’s top talents and the artist who supervised such memorable Disney characters as Ariel, Princess Jasmine, Young Simba, Mulan, Tiana and Winnie the Pooh. Sounds of Blackness, a Grammy Award-winning musical ensemble specializing in traditional music rooted in the African-American experience, wrote and performed the original song that tells the famous story in a new way.

Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur First Teaser Trailer

The Good Dinosaur Poster

Millions of years ago an asteroid 6 miles wide destroyed every dinosaur on earth, But what if… Woosh…it passed earth right on by and the dinosaurs still remained in the circle of life? What would life be like? Would man still be the dominate force or would dinosaurs become the evolving species?

“The Good Dinosaur” asks the question: What if the asteroid that forever changed life on Earth missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct? Pixar Animation Studios takes you on an epic journey into the world of dinosaurs where an Apatosaurus named Arlo makes an unlikely human friend. While traveling through a harsh and mysterious landscape, Arlo learns the power of confronting his fears and discovers what he is truly capable of. The Good Dinosaur

After Arlo is separated from his pack, he sets out on a journey to find his way back. While finding his way in a strange land, Arlo finds a human. He doesn’t talk much and is a little “wild” but Arlo keeps him and calls him Spot. The story mirrors the theme of “a boy and his dog.” However, unlike the Flintstones where Dino the dinosaur is the dog, The Good Dinosaur switches things around and makes the human the dog and Arlo, the dinosaur, the boy. Who knows, if the asteroid never hit perhaps we would be sitting in purses, drinking from bowls and using the great outdoors as natures outhouse.

Watch Pixar’s The Good Dinosaur First Teaser Trailer below and wonder what would have happened if the earth was never hit.

The Good Dinosaur will hit theaters November 25th, 2015.

There is a serious lack of Party supplies featuring all the slugs and characters from Slugterra, at least in my area. How is one supposed to have a Slugtastic party when it is so hard to find products to do so? What are we supposed to do, purchase a few realistic slugs, paint them and try to pass them off as Slugterra characters? It may actually be feasible to do that, but not in my DIY world. Printable Paper Doll of Esmeralda from The Hunchback of Notre Dame

    Esmeralda Paper Doll By Cory

Paper Dolls by Cory has brought the heroine, Esmeralda, from The Hunchback of Notre Dame to life in his beautiful new Paper Doll. The Hunchback of Notre Dame is one of Paper Dolls By Cory favorite movies with its wonderful story, characters, animation, and music.

Paper Dolls by Cory chose to make Esmeralda as a Paper Doll because she is really great character,

She’s strong, sassy, courageous, and compassionate. She is a warrior fighting for the less fortunate, including Quasimodo, the Hunchback himself. Paper Dolls By Cory

Inspired by Disney’s art, Paper Dolls by Cory created his version of Esmeralda with his signature “eyes closed.” Of course, Esmeralda is nothing without her trusty goat friend, Djali, which Cory included in his paper doll design.

The Paper Doll is free to download! Simply click the images below and save the images to your computer. Then print and create for hours of fun. Be sure to visit Paper Dolls By Cory and check out his other fine pieces of art in the form of Paper Dolls.

Grab a copy of The Hunchback of Notre Dame from Amazon.com and see the beautiful masterpiece for yourself. Print the paper doll so that the kids or adults can reenact some of their favorite scenes.

    Synopsis:
Inspired by Victor Hugo’s classic novel, Disney brings the heroic adventures of Quasimodo, the gentle and lonely bell ringer of Notre Dame, to spectacular life. This critically acclaimed Disney masterpiece is an “uplifting, thrilling story with a heart-touching message that emerges from the comedy and song” (Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times). At the urging of his hilarious gargoyle pals Victor, Hugo, and Laverne, Quasimodo leaves the solitary safety of his tower, venturing out to find his first true friend, the gypsy beauty Esmerelda. The most unlikely of heroes, Quasi fights to save the people and the city he loves and, in turn, helps us to see people for who they are, rather than how they appear. The star-studded voice cast includes Jason Alexander, Tom Hulce, Kevin Kline, and Demi Moore in a magnificent Disney musical from renowned composer Alan Menken.

No-Bake Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes Recipe

I love Family.Disney.com! It is a great place to find fun recipes that kids will love to help make and eat. Like Disney says,

Kids are more tempted to try new foods when they are presented in a fun and attractive way

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes certainly follow through with their ideals of fun and attractive. Like food connoisseur, kids eat with their eyes first. Sometimes a blob of tuna salad just doesn’t look appealing enough to eat. But add a tomato head and olive ears to form an abstract Mickey Mouse head and you have a recipe for fun that entices the imagination and taste buds. Of course, taste is a much need factor in the equation of trying new foods. We may eat with our eyes first, but we taste with our mouths. Good thing the Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes taste delicious with the minced dill.

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes takes, at the max, 20 minutes to make. There is no cooking or baking involved! Get everything chopped and ready to go and creating them will be a breeze.

    tomato-mice-photo-420-an-spoonful

    Ingredients:

  • 1 – 5 ounce can of Organic white tuna, drained (I find these at Costco, soy free)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (homemade is the best! I have a full-proof, 30 second recipe for making mayo here: Click Me)
  • 2 Organic scallions, thinly sliced
  • 1 Organic rib of celery, diced
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh dill
  • 10 Organic cocktail tomatoes (or large Organic cherry tomatoes)
  • 1 small can of Organic olives, sliced (you will need 20 whole slices)
  • Directions:

      1. Put tuna in a medium bowl and flake apart with a fork.
      2. Gently stir in the mayo, scallions, celery and dill until everything is evenly mixed. Set aside.
      3. Cut the tops off of the tomatoes and scoop out the seeds with a small spoon.
      4. Carefully fill tomatoes with the tuna salad, mounding it slightly at the top
      5. Cut a slit through the bottom of each olive slice. Place two olives on each tomato so that they look like mouse ears.
      6. Top each tomato with an additional dill leaf, if desired.
Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to serve (up to one day).

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes can turn into Mickey Mouse Egg Tomatoes by substituting the can of Tuna with 6 chopped boiled eggs. This changes the recipe from Tuna Salad to Egg Salad.

The Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomatoes recipe was found at Family.Disney.com. I made a few changes to the ingredients by picking out organic vegetables and Tuna. Also, making homemade mayonnaise is so easy and only takes 30 seconds. Adding these changes makes the meal even more healthy and better for anyone enjoying a Mickey Mouse Tuna Tomato.

Disney Descendants: “The Isle of the Lost”

Descendants coming this summer to Disney Channel

Coming this summer to the Disney Channel is Descendants, a movie about the most wicked Evil Disney Villains and their offspring. The Disney Villains and their kids are imprisoned on an island, forgotten by much of the world. But four children are offered a chance to leave the island and go to school in an idyllic kingdom. Will they follow in their parents footsteps, or discover that being good may not be so bad? Featuring characters such as: Evie the Daughter of the Evil Queen, Mai the daughter of Maleficent, Carlos the son of Cruella De Vil, Jay the son of Jafar, Audrey the daughter of Sleeping Beauty, Chad the son of Cinderella and Prince Charming, Jane the daughter of the Fairy Godmother, Ben the son of Queen Belle and King Adam, Lonnie the daughter of Mulan and Shang, and Doug the son of Dopey (yes Dopey has a son).

The movie takes place after the book, “The Isle of the Lost” written by Melissa de la Cruz.

Before Descendants airs on Disney Channel, grab a copy of the book The Isle of the Lost and catch up on the story of the Evil Offspring and their adventures to get the Dragon’s Eye.

    Synopsis of the book:

    Evil tree. Bad Apple?

Twenty years ago, all the evil villains were banished from the kingdom of Auradon to the Isle of the Lost–a dark and dreary place protected by a force field that makes it impossible for them to leave. Stripped of their magical powers, the villains now live in total isolation, forgotten by the world.

Mal learns from her mother, Maleficent, that the key to true darkness, the Dragon’s Eye, is located inside her scepter in the forbidden fortress on the far side of the island. The eye is cursed, and whoever retrieves it will be knocked into a deep sleep for a thousand years. But Mal has a plan to capture it. She’ll just need a little help from her “friends.” In their quest for the Dragon’s Eye, these four kids begin to realize that just because you come from an evil family tree, being good ain’t so bad.
