Cubeecraft of Jinora from Legend of Korra as an Airbending Master

Since we met Jinora in Book one of The Legend Of Korra, the show has hinted to her above average abilities in airbending. As the show progressed we saw her communicate with spirits, travel to the spirit world, and recently travel outside her body to see what is around her.
After Jinora met Kai, her request for her airbending tattoos increased, feeling she was indeed a master of airbending and even out-mastered her father Tenzin. Although Tenzin agreed her abilities were masterful, she had yet to deserve her tattoos. However, in the finale of Legend of Korra Book 3, Jinora displays her airbending abilities as she instructs her fellow airbenders to construct a large tornado to bring down Zaheer. Her cool head and amazing airbending rewards her the title of master and she receives her airbending tattoos.

To make:

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the Craft knife
  3. Cut along each red line using the Crafto knife
  4. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an Craft knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet
  5. Slide the arms through the white slots on either side of the body.
  6. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
  7. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.

SlugTerra Armashelt Coloring Page and Wallpaper

Armashelt Slug from SlugTerra!
The Armashelt slugs are very strong and durable slugs. Their skin is like armor which gives them a high defense. One of the most popular Armashelt slugs is Banger; he belongs to Eli, which he won in his second duel. When Armashelt is shot at the same time as an Infurnus they form an attack called MagmaStrike where the slugs launch a flaming bolder.

Cubeecraft of Katy Perry from Her Music Video Roar!

I had a request to make a Katy Perry Cubeecraft. I decided to make one from one of my favorite music video: Roar. This cubeecraft features Katy Perry in her jungle attire: a Grass skirt and a leopard print top.

Katy Perry is very difficult to make, it will require a steady hand with a craft knife to get all the small cuts perfect. The grass around the skirt will not be folded but stick out below the base of the body. BE CAREFUL to not split the tabs, those are need to form the body. This is difficult but not impossible 😀 I suggest cutting out the grass first before you begin cutting out the shapes to build the cubeecraft. It will keep your paper sturdy and could help with repairs if you do make a longer cut than wanted.

This printable papercraft is free to download, print and create. It cannot, however, be sold for money, be used commercially or used for anything that may violate the copyright.

CUBEECRAFT:
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
Craft knife

To make:

  1. Cut out the grass petals along the white lines over the black tabs. Be sure to not cut past the white. If you do you will split the tabs and require tape to repair.
  2. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  3. For the Head: Using a craft knife, Cut along the while lines of each tab and the while lines in the hair.
  4. Cut along each red line using the craft knife.
  5. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet. On the head, the tabs must weave through the two openings so that her hair flows down
  6. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
  7. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
  8. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.

SLUGTERRA: Return of the Elementals will be on DVD 9/16!

On September 16th, 2014 the Shout! Factory Kids in collaboration with Nerd Corps will release Slugterra: Return of the Elementals on DVD! After watching this film in theaters, I can honestly say that I am very excited for this DVD release. This movie continues from the TV series and the movie Slugterra: A Ghoul from Beyond, however this battle to save SlugTerra will be far more difficult than those in the past. To get the assistance he needs to face an evil alliance that threatens to destroy their home, Eli accepts help from the Shadow Clan, a rare Enigmo slug, and a holographic image of his father. Watch the DVD to see the Shane Gang attempt (and possibly succeed) in rescuing the Air, Fire, Earth, Water and Energy Elementals to save Slugterra and the 99 caverns.

My favorite part of the film was seeing the new slugs. I find the design of the Elemental Slugs fascinating. Each Slug seemed to emanate the element they controlled. For example, the Earth Elemental Slug is stocky and wide with an almost rock like feature and the Fire Elemental Slug literally appears to be on fire.

In anticipation of the DVD release and since I love the design of the slugs so much, I decided to make coloring pages featuring the Elemental Slugs. The Arachnet Slug is a spider-like Slug. It has been very useful for the Shane Gang and has saved their lives on numerous occasions. Its uses vary from spinning a soft landing area to creating a vine-like web a SlugSlinger can use to swing from trees or ledges. This slug may only have 6 attacks, but its abilities are only limited by the imagination of their SlugSlinger.

Disney Princess Palace Pet Coloring page of Slipper

Cubeecraft Paper Craft of Mai with Throwing Knives from Avatar the Last Airbender

Mai was a member of Team Azula along with Ty Lee before she defied Azula to save Zuko. Both were recruited to hunt the Avatar and dispose of him. Mai’s interest in joining such a mission came from her desperation to leave Omashu for a more active life style. Azula invited Mai to join the hunt because Mai was very proficient in throwing knives. Years of nothing to do but throw knives led to a skill most did not posses.

Mai is often shown as bored, looking for anything to stimulate her life, Perhaps that is why she loved Zuko, he was a very emotional Prince sent to earn his honor back.

This Cubeecraft has two parts, and you will need both to complete it.
Part 1 consists of the head, arms, and legs
Part 2 is the dress and throwing knives.

Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
craft knife

To make:
1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
2. Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife
3. Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife
4. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, arms, and feet
5. Fold along the base lines of the dress. Slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife.
6. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the dress.
7. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the dress.
8. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.
9. Slide the Throwing Knives into Mai’s Hands
She is now complete
