Legend of Korra Continues Online!

I’ll have to admit, when I heard the news that The Legend Of Korra (LOK) will no longer air on Cable TV, my heart fell. I thought the whole thing was canceled and that it would be gone forever.

However, thanks to co-creators Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino, LOK will still be available to watch online. Every Friday at Noon, a new LOK episode will be available to watch for free! And to top it all off we still get a Book 4! No word as of yet if Book 4 will be aired on Cable TV or if it will be digital. Whatever they decide, I am sure I will be watching it. Keep your eyes here and I will post more news as I hear it.

Marvel’s Iron Man and Captain America Unite to Save The World From Evil!

Marvel’s Iron Man and Captain America Heroes United is available on Disney Movie Rewards, On-Demand, or Digital HD!

Watch as our favorite heroes join forces to battle evil and save the world. However, that is easier said than done. When you have two heroes that are natural born leaders, armor and shields are sure to collide, along with a little friendly banter. Let’s face it, with Tony Stark, the banter will probably be a little less than friendly. Calling Captain America’s Shield a “Garbage Can lid” did not go over well. I guess if Captain America wanted to return with a rebuttal he could have called Iron Man a walking Garbage Can. That would then make them a perfect pair. 😀

This movie is certainly a must see for any marvel fan or super hero fan, provided they are at the PG age and above. This is also a great movie for adults. I found myself laughing at a few of the more comedic scenes and fully engrossed by the battle scenes. We also get a few surprises along the way, picture something Big and Green (that is the only hint you will get from me).

Cubeecraft of Suyin BeiFong from Legend of Korra From Book 3

The Legend of Korra Book 3 is not only called Change but has demonstrated change happening all over the avatar universe. Not only are people adapting to the spirits roaming around cities and the skies, people are all of a sudden finding themselves with the ability to airbend. Many have taken the task to learn the ways of the air nation by receiving their training from Tenzin up at the air temples. While Tenzin trains, Korra continues the search for more airbenders. When she hers there may be an airbender in Zaofu, Team Avatar head for the city of metal, against Lin’s wishes.

Recently, fans have learned a little bit more about the BeiFong family and the sister rivalry. However, just like this book promises, change not only happens with spirits and bending abilities but in people as well.

The Cubeecraft below features Suyin in her leadership attire. 😀

CUBEECRAFT:
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
Craft knife

To make:

  1. Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
  2. Cut along the white on each tab using the craft knife and along the white around her hair. Be vary careful. IF you cut past the while lines her face will disconnect from the cubeecraft.
  3. Cut along each red line using the craft knife.
  4. Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet. On the body, the tabs must weave through the two openings so that her jacket comes down past the base of the body
  5. Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
  6. Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
  7. Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.

Highlights from the Comic-Con 2014 GOOSEBUMPS Panel

Thanks to the Panel at comic-con, we now have more information about Goosebumps Staring Jack Black! Goosebumps the movie will feature R.L. Stine and his struggles to protect his readers from Monsters. Watch the video below to get the highlights of the the Comic-Con Panel.

Story:
Upset about moving from a big city to a small town, teenager Zach Cooper (Dylan Minnette) finds a silver lining when he meets the beautiful girl Hannah (Odeya Rush), living next door. But every silver lining has a cloud, and Zach’s comes when he learns that Hannah has a mysterious dad who is revealed to be R. L. Stine (Jack Black), the author of the bestselling Goosebumps series. It turns out that there is a reason why Stine is so strange…he is a prisoner of his own imagination – the monsters that his books made famous are real, and Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up in their books. When Zach unintentionally unleashes the monsters from their manuscipts and they begin to terrorize the town, it’s suddenly up to Stine, Zach and Hannah to get all of them back in the books where they belong.
