Thanks to Disney’s Facebook Page, fans are getting epic recipes that are fun to make and delicious to eat. This weeks recipe is inspired by the littlest Incredible, Jack-Jack. Everyone knows Jack-Jack has a thing for cookies; they are his num nums. Well these num nums become yum yums for us now that Disney has released the awesome Num-Num Cookie Recipe by MaryLou Jaso., a Pixar Pastry Chef.
To begin the process of making Num Num Cookies, I suggest collecting all the ingredients together and separating them into small bowls. It helps keep track of all the ingredients, so that no ingredient is forgotten. A forgotten ingredient means these cookies will not be num num.
Ingredients needed:
1 cup butter (2 sticks)
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp baking soda
2 1/4 cups flour
1 cup chocolate chips
Step 1: Brown Butter and let it cool until it begins to solidify
Step 2: Cream butter, sugars, and salt in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy
Step 3: Mix in whole egg, Egg yolk, and vanilla
Step 4: Combine dry ingredients. Then slowly mix the dry mixture into the butter-sugar mixture
Step 5: Add Chocolate Chips
Step 6: Scoop into balls and chill thoroughly. At least one hour, preferably overnight.
Step 7: Bake at 350F for 7-10 minutes until golden brown on edges but still soft in the center.
Step 8: Enjoy the num nums while looking fabulous darling. Always look fabulous.

Shark Week starts July 11, 2021! That means it’s time to get ready for a blockbuster summer with new jaw dropping shows on Discovery and Discovery+. This year the shark programming will feature celebrities including, Robert Irwin, William Shatner, and many others who will be diving into the water for extraordinary shark adventures.
Shark Week has shared the lineup of episodes for Shark Week featuring their all new shows. Some of the episodes sound amazing and I can’t wait to watch them. For example:
CRIKEY! IT’S SHARK WEEK will start Shark Week off with a bang as Robert Irwin dives with his first ever Great White Shark, This sounds like it could be amazing and informative since the Irwin’s tend to be more informative while also being entertaining.
MECHASHARK is about building a metal shark to see if scientists have indeed found the mating region of the Great White..
Since I am a crazy fan of all of the Sharknado movies, THE REAL SHARKNADO (wt) is also on my list to watch. The actors come back and talk about the fiction and realistic possibilities of Sharknados.
RETURN TO THE LAIR OF THE GREAT WHITE promises to be very informative since everything we know about the Great White Sharks could be changing.
Looking at the calendar, there are also a few I more than likely won’t be watching since I am not a fan of the celebrities featured in those episodes. Thankfully, Shark Week has a variety of episodes that cater to many different Shark Week fans. Use the Calendar below to find which episodes you will be watching.

Pokémon Go is celebrating their fifth anniversary by selling the Go Fest Tickets for only $5! That is 66% off the cost of the Go Fest ticket last year! Go Fest 2021 will be a music fest where fans can choose a Pop Star Pikachu or a Rock Star Pikachu. The Pikachu we choose will dictate which music plays during the event. There will be a rock-and-rolling track for Pikachu Rock Star fans, a high-energy electro-pop song for Pikachu Pop Star tans. Guess who wants some rock n roll.
Go Fest is a 2 day event starting July 17. There will be a ton of special Pokémon, special researches, and new Shiny Pokémon (I can’t wait to get a shiny Whismur and Chimecho). Fans with the ticket will also get the adorable Mythical Pokémon Meloetta, (insert fan girl scream here). To learn more about the GO Fest 2021, go to the official Pokémon Go Fest website. There we can read about all of the events, specials, and habitats. It will also help fans decide if they want to buy the Go Fest ticket. With it being 66% off, I don’t think many people will say no. Either way, players will be able to catch some awesome Pokémon and have a blast during the Go Fest.

I have included the printables below since the webpage that contained the Go Fest printables no longer exists. I can’t wait to see what Niantic will provide for our celebration this year.

On October 1, 2021, everyone’s favorite spooky family is back in the animated comedy sequel, The Addams Family 2. In this all new movie we find Morticia and Gomez distraught that their children are growing up, skipping family dinners, and totally consumed with “scream time.” To reclaim their bond they decide to cram Wednesday, Pugsley, Uncle Fester and the crew into their haunted camper and hit the road for one last miserable family vacation. This Pikachu bookmark craft allows fans to create their own unique bookmark by gluing two yellow rectangles together and then gluing all of the lightning bolts to the rectangles. Add the head and fans have their own Pikachu to keep their pages safe for future reading.. Be sure to let dry before use.
Pokémon Crown
Get ready to celebrate with this fun Pokémon crown! Simply Glue the bands together then glue the pokéballs and Pikachus to the band. Be sure to let dry before wearing.
Pokémon Memory Game
The printable Pokémon Memory Game is like most memory games, except in this case you have to print and create the cards by printing the pages on cardstock, cutting out the squares, gluing the backs to each square, and letting the squares dry. Then turn the squares face down and start playing.
How to Play:
Turn all the squares facedown (Pokémon side down) on a flat surface
The first player flips over two squares. If they match, the player keeps the pair and it is the next players turn. If they don’t match, the player turns them face down once again and it’s the next player’s turn.
The game keeps going until all pairs have been collected
the person with the most pairs wins. TIP: to make sure there is a winner remove one pair to remove the possibility of a tie.

Here is a question we all have thought about growing up. If we had three wishes, what would we wish for? Would it be a big pile of money? Fame? Power? For Din, in Netflix’s new movie Wish Dragon, this question became a reality when he is given a magical teapot, which contains a Wish Dragon named Long. All of a sudden, he could have whatever he wanted.
To Long’s surprise, Din didn’t want money, fame, or power. All Din wanted was to reconnect with a girl named Li Na, whom he knew from his childhood. Granted, his path to seeing Li Na was anything but easy. There were kung fu master bad guys, a father who was trying to save his business and lifestyle, a mother who wanted Din to get his head out of the clouds and be realistic, and a Dragon who thought people only wanted gold..
These complications led to several hilarious events that made me laugh uncontrollably. For example, when Long turns into a dragon costume to hide Din and Li Na from the bad guys , I thought, ok that’s funny. But then, when Long and Din start fighting the bad guys who are also in a dragon costume, I lost it. The tears from laughing were making it hard to see every hilarious moment in this scene. And the audience’s reaction as they were watching the fight was priceless! I watched it several times just to see everything.
There are a lot of laughter moments throughout this film as the main protagonist, the Wish Dragon, Long, learns and grows. Along his path, Long learns about interesting new technology and snacks the world has invented while he was locked away for 1000 years. One of my favorite scenes is the Shrimp Chips. Must be peasant food…or delectable deliciousness.
Long also learns an even larger lesson, more important than all the Shrimp Chip in the world. He learns the meaning of life, how family, friends, and helping others is far more important than a pile of riches. In fact ,Long sacrifices himself to help Din achieve his ultimate goal of reconnecting with Li Na. Long’s growth, I think, is the ultimate journey in Wish Dragon and it’s a wonderful story.
Along with this amazing story line, Wish Dragon is also really well made. Directed by Chris Appelhans and produced by Aron Warner, Chris Bremble, and Jackie Chan (yes, the one and the same); this team created an outstanding visionary masterpiece. The colors, the scenes, and even the background images engage, amaze and capture the eye of all it’s viewers. I believe Base Animation studio succeeded in their goal of making a “world class animation in China for China… and the world”.
Because I love Wish Dragon so much and knowing that there are going to be other fans out there, I decided it needed a party kit. Hold on to your diapies babies, Nickelodeon has released the entire series of Rugrats on DVD. This also includes the special All Growed Up, which started the Rugrats spinoff ‘All Grown Up’! Fans and soon-to-be fans can now binge watch the entire collection, which arrives on a 26-disc set. The collection features all 9 seasons and 5 bonus shorts starring our favorite babies, Tommy, Chucky, Kim, Phil, Lil, Angelica, Dill, and Susie. The only thing that is missing are the Rugrats movies.
I received the chance to review the collection and here is what I thought.
When the DVD collection arrived in the mail, I will admit I was a bit shocked. When I think about a 26 disc set, I expected a lot bigger package. My head had the idea that each season would be in it’s own case and that this collection would be about six to 12 inches wide. However, the packaging is tight and condensed. It is about 2.5 inches wide along the spine, which means it won’t take up much room on the DVD shelf.
The condensed feature of the DVD collection does mean that the DVDs are cramped within the DVD case with each DVD spinning and sliding against one another. This layered affect will eventually cause scratching, if it hasn’t already. Also, the DVDs don’t stay well in the package. They constantly fall out because the locking mechanisms for the center of the DVDs doesn’t work or is non-existent. Because of these two flaws, I suggest finding a DVD storage case (affiliate link) for all 26 DVDs. They are pretty cheap and are well worth the investment. The one I found on Amazon.com actually holds 80 DVDs giving us more space to hold other poorly packed series.
Thankfully, each DVD is numbered extremely well with the season and disc number etched on the front. This makes it easy to organize the DVDs in a DVD storage case and it makes it easy to find our place once we come back to watch more Rugrats. Let’s face it, watching all 9 seasons in one sitting is probably not on everyone’s to-do list. With over 67 hours of play time, I would suggest dividing the series up into manageable watching events. If we watch 8 hours a day, we could finish the entire series in 9 days, that should be manageable enough. HAHAHAHA! Actually, since we have them on DVD, we don’t have to worry about our streaming service removing them from the database when we just start watching the final season of a show we are now extremely invested in, so we can watch it at our leisure. I have had a few horrific “Noooooooo!”s in my streaming days, which has led me to start collecting my favorite TV series on DVD or Blu-ray.
I will be honest, I love this series. I was a fan in the 90s and I am still a fan today. In my opinion, the case’s imperfections don’t diminish the absolute joy of the Rugrats show. I am not buying the DVD collection for the case, I am buying the collection for every episode of the babies’ escapades, their adventures, their struggles, their triumphs, and more. Rugrats has a strong fanbase and continues to draw crowds to their iconic show. Since the 90s, the life of a baby and their adventures has captured the viewers into their magical world The fact that this entire series has been released on DVD is something fans have been waiting to buy for over a decade. I am certain a plastic box will not stop fans from enjoying the series we all love.
When it comes to the collection of shows, the first two season have a strange imperfection. For very 11 minute episode, we have to watch the opening theme and the credits. However, this stops once we reach season 3. Other than that, this is 90s charm with our beloved Rugrats. I am so happy the entire series of Rugrats has been released. When I or my family needs epic 90s nostalgia or great adventure stories, I just pop in a DVD and we watch a few episodes. They are short and sweet making them great for a quick watch or we can watch six segments in the span of an hour. This is a fantastic collection of friendship, trust, bravery, morals, and curiosity. I give the show five starts.
As for the case, let’s pretend it doesn’t exist. When you purchase Rugrats The Complete Series, purchase a DVD storage case as well, place the DVDs in their designated sleeves, and move on to the awesomeness that is Rugrats.

PAW Patrol: Moto Pups was released on DVD June 1st. This time the PAW Patrol gets help from an awesome dare devil cat named Wild Cat. Together, they find ways to stop the Ruff-Ruff pack and save the town. Like most PAW Patrol episodes, these shows feature team work, problem solving, and kindness. It is all about helping others together.
I received the chance to review this DVD collection and here is what I thought. This review is 100% my own opinion. It does contain affiliate links to Amazon, which I earn a commission.
PAW Patrol: Moto Pups is everything we expect to come from the awesome series. We get to see awesome vehicles, fun tricks, and even death defying moves from Wild Cat. In fact, Wild Cat joins the PAW Patrol in each episode to help save people and Moto Town from the nasty Ruff-Ruff pack. I think it is cool to see an adorable and helpful cat in the series. Normally we see the mischievous Humdinger kittens

In each of these episodes, the Ruff Ruff pack gets into trouble by stealing a donut maker, stealing Mayor Humdinger’s kittens, taking a bus on a joy ride and getting stuck on Twisty Top Mesa, tricking Mayor Goodway, and kidnapping a PAW Patrol pup that gets stuck in the desert. With so much chaos happening around the city, the PAW Patrol jumps into action ready to save the people, save the animals, save their own, all while saving the day.
I love this collection because it shows what is wrong, what is right, and what others can do to help each other in the community. It doesn’t matter if you are a pup or cat, we can do anything when working together. PAW Patrol is an amazing cartoon. Like many of their DVD collections, I give this one 5 stars.
This DVD also includes an episode of Baby Shark’s Big Show: Baby Tooth. I am not sure what it has to do with PAW Patrol, other than it was created by Nickelodeon, but it was a cute little cartoon about a baby shark that loses it’s tooth.
