Three Fun Thanksgiving Turkey Paper Crafts

Thanksgiving Printable Paper crafts by SKGaleana

Thanksgiving is almost here! Are you ready? I should probably admit to myself that I’m not ready but then the panic of the holidays will set in. I think, for now, I will continue to live in a delusion and skip down the yellow brick road of procrastination. It will all kick in Nov. 25th when I realize I don’t even have the turkey. Until then, crafting is always fun. At least the brings about family time during this family occasion.

I created three different Thanksgiving paper crafts that are fun to make and display for decorations. Not only are they cute but they are gobblicious! And free to download as well.

The first craft is the Cone Turkey. Simply make a brown cone, glue on the eyes, beak and feathers and TA DA, a Cone Turkey. Display this little guy on the mantel or make it a table centerpiece. It’s festive and easy for the little ones to create. An adult should cut out the pieces to keep the little kids safe.

While Thanksgiving is a great day to be thankful for what we have, a wonderful time for families to get together, and the sharing of delicious food, there is no denying that it’s also about football. Thanksgiving and football go together like Potatoes and Gravy. I thought it would be fitting to create an adorable Football Turkey paper craft. It is a craft that is great for the little one in the house but also the big kids that are football fans. It is certainly another way to create family fun! Adults should cut out the pieces for the kids.

Of course, Thanksgiving is also about food. With that in mind, I thought it would be adorable to make a little Turkey food art. Take this printable and cut out the Turkey heads. Glue or tape these heads to clear plastic cups. Slice up carrots, celery, cucumber, zucchini, and other vibrant vegetables and place them in the cups to look like feathers. Place the now-filled cups on the table and let people grab them to snack on while they wait for the feast. Healthy and fun!
