Celebrate Fall with Nick Jr. Fantastic Fall DVD of Fun!

September 22, 2020 marks the end of summer and the first day of one of my favorite seasons, fall. With the start of fall comes fun fall themed episodes from some of our favorite TV shows and cartoons. In anticipation of such a wonderful season, Nick Jr. compiled several fall episodes featuring some of their most loved characters onto one exciting DVD, Nick Jr.: Fantastic Fall . This DVD will be available September 22, 2020, which I find perfectly fitting!

My family and I got the chance to watch and review this collection and let me just say….awesome! This collection features The Paw Patrol, Blue’s Clues and You!, Blaze, Bubble Guppies, and The Bean Team. From trick or treating to Thanksgiving Day parties, the collection covers all that we love about fall.

The episodes included in the DVD are:

  • PAW Patrol: Pups Save Thanksgiving

  • Blue’s Clues & You!: Thankful with Blue
  • Blaze and the Monster Machines: Truck or Treat!

After watching all the fall Halloween and Thanksgiving Day awesomeness, I discovered something. I thought I had seen everything animated cartoons had to offer; after all, most of the time the stories are repetitive just with a different franchise. It turns out, Paw Patrol likes to think outside the box. I have never seen a floating turkey bouncy house before. I never even knew I wanted to see one But now I find myself thinking…is it possible? Now I want to fly around in a bouncy house.

While the other episodes don’t contain a flying turkey bouncy house, they are still fun to watch. With strange costumes (especially in the new Blue’s Clues and You! episode) and thankful scenarios., the DVD is entertaining for the whole family even if it is meant for the younger audience. I give it 5 stars!

Red Shoes and the Seven Dwarfs was directed by Sung-ho Hong, and features character design and animation direction from Jin Kim, who worked on Disney’s animated classics Fantasia 2000, Frozen II, and Tangled. Music is by Primetime Emmy® award-winning composer Geoff Zanelli (2006, Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, “Into the West”; Emmy® nomination: 2010, Outstanding Music Composition for a Miniseries, “The Pacific”), whose theatrical work includes Maleficent: Mistress of Evil and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales. The Fairest Red Shoes-inspired Apple Pie Recipe!

Fun at The Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous Website

Fans of Jurassic World and dinosaurs can now discover what happened on the other side of the island of Isla Nublar in a brand new animated series,, Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, coming to Netflix Sept. 18, 2020. Camp takes on a whole different meaning when you are on an island of dinosaurs, especially for this adventurous set of teens who find themselves in a whole Jurassic heap of trouble on the other side of Isla Nublar. When dinosaurs attack, they must work together to survive.

In anticipation of the release of Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous, Dreamworks Animation has created a fun and engaging website. The Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous website encourages fans to learn about dinosaurs, listen to unique stories, check out secret blue prints, print and create fun activities, play games, and so much more.

The website is full of sounds, stories, and 3D awesomeness. But I have to admit, I love the printable activities. In their Tree Top Cabins, Camp Cretaceous provides a huge activity packet featuring dinosaurs from Isla Nublar. The activity packet includes:

Dole and Disney Pixar Combine Forces for Monstrous Fun

Dole, the bringer of yummy fruits and veggies, has partnered with Disney/Pixar to bring us fun and games while we enjoy our delicious treats. We can print activities, make recipes with the family, and even collect banana stickers from Dole bananas that feature some of our favorite Disney/Pixar characters!

If you are like me, you are wondering, “What is a banana sticker game?” Turns out, Dole is putting our favorite characters on actual bananas via banana stickers. When we buy bananas, we can peel these stickers off and place them on the printable activity. There will be 25 different characters to collect, including: Woody, Buzz, Mike, Sulley, Nemo, Mater, Wall-e, Eve, and more.

The other activities included on the Dole Website are,

  • Monster cut outs to decorate fruit

Paw Patrol Jet to the Rescue Flight Goggles and Badge Craft

PAW Patrol: Jet to the Rescue is available on DVD today exclusively on Amazon! That means fans of Paw Patrol can now enter into a whole new adventure of rescuing friends by joining the pups in their high-flying jets.

Like many of the Paw Patrol episodes, Jet to the Rescue focuses on helping preschoolers solve problems using teamwork, community, and individual skills. It highlights different types of characters and how their differences add to the solution.

The problem to solve in Jet to the Rescue is saving the town from the Duke of Flappington and the levitation gem. But with awesome Jet vehicles and the willingness to help others, a happy ending is ensured.

I find Paw Patrol Jet to the Rescue fun and enjoyable. I love the fact that they now soar through the sky. Also, I love the pink jet. We need more like that in real life.

While, real life pink jets are rare to find (if they exist at all), kids can still become a pink pilot with the new craft featuring Skye’s goggles and badge. Download the template by clicking the link below, follow the instructions, and imagine flying through the air in a pink jet.

UHU Enters the World of Mario with Epic Printables

Uhu is getting ready for back to school with their brand new fun paper crafts featuring Mario, Peach, and Luigi! They ate available to download now on the UHU website.

UHU is a German company known for their glues. If we need something to stick together, they got us covered. From domestic, to hobbyists, to professional adhesive needs, the large selection of glue provides several choices for specific projects. I personally have never used UHU glue, I can’t recall seeing it in stores in my area, but they seem to be a very popular brand elsewhere in the world. I mean they have been around for almost 100 years…perhaps I should order a stick and try it.
