The series Blaze and the Monster Machines is an interactive series for preschoolers. It will stop in the middle of a mission and ask for tips, shapes and other items kids will love to pick and shout. Each episode features a different problem to solve as the audience learns about teamwork and helping others. This series is no different as Blaze goes forth to rescue his friends. It is a fun show with learning, discovery, and entertainment. I have always like the series.

In this collection of episodes, Blaze has a few missions that will require him in a big rig. My favorite one has to be Big Rig Blaze. Blaze gets a call from Stripes, who’s party was just destroyed by the wind. To save the day, Blaze goes in search of all the items that were lost. Somehow they travel far, a cotton candy machine ends up on a pier and the prizes end up in snowballs. However, Blaze will do what it takes to help get this party back in action and accept help from the audience.

Just like all of the Blaze and the Monster Machine episodes, these do not disappoint and lead to an interactive good time. I give the DVD five stars

For those that know the Baby Shark’s Big Show franchise, you will not be disappointed with this collection. Thanks to the featured episode, The Seaweed Sway, the audience is also encouraged to get up and dance to learn the Seaweed Sway or dance their own way.

Preschoolers will fall in love with the Seaweed Sway, taught to them by Baby Shark, William, and Cardi B voicing Sharki B. While the younger audience may not know who Cardi B is, I am sure the parents watching will get a kick out of the Rapper voicing a shark in a children’s TV series. I know I found it hilarious.

Pups and kittens come together in Nickelodeon’s brand new DVD release PAW Patrol: Cat Pack Rescues. In this group of episodes featured on the DVD, the PAW Patrol pups team up with the Cat Pack to make amazing rescues, use new machinery and vehicles, and work together to save their town and friends. Unlike other episode collections where the pups team up with other pups or friends, this time the pups team up with the Cat Pack whose main goal is to prove that cats can be heroes too. PAW Patrol: Cat Pack Rescues will be available on DVD from Paramount Home Entertainment and Nickelodeon Home Entertainment on September 13, 2022, for the suggested retail price of $10.99.

I received the chance to review this DVD and here is what I thought.

Like so many PAW Patrol shows, The Cat Pack Rescue episodes do not disappoint. The episodes are filled with team work, caring, problem solving, and of course our favorite pups. However, this time, kitten/cat fans will find a love for the show as a group of heroes called the Cat Pack rise to the occasion as they join forces to help rescue friends and prove that cats can be the good guys. I loved watching as the cats take center stage and work at proving that not all cats are crazy like those owned by Mayor Humdinger, the Kitten Catastrophe Crew.

The episodes included in the DVD are:

• Pups Meet the Cat Pack
• Rocket Rescuers
• The Golden Lion Mask
• The Cat That Roared
• Saving the Safe
• Pups Save the Kittens and the Kiddies
• Pups Save the Portable Pet Wash

My favorite episode of those included on the DVD has to be The Cat That Roared. Instead of having all the cats and maybe one or two pups from the PAW Patrol, two kittens actually team up with two pups to help save the day. It is equal screen time for both kittens (Leo and Rory) and pups (Marshall and Tracker), which leads to an amazing monkey rescue. With the help of Trackers cables, Marshall’s medical kit, Rory’s tiger pouncing skills, and Leo’s roar, the team works together and saves the monkey. It is awesome to see two teams, so different in looks, prove that anyone, no matter what they look like, can be heroes.

I got the chance to review Paws of Fury The Legend of Hank and here is what I thought.

Get ready for the fart jokes in the new movie Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank. When it comes to funny, the writers have decided to go with the classics and bring about a litter of fart jokes including the igniting of farts and mentioning the smell of farts. For the little boys in the room, this will be funny to watch, however, the amount of fart jokes will get old with time. Some may bring a slight chuckle, but after a while, eyes will roll and the jokes just get less funny over time. But for the fart fans in the room, this will be fun to watch a couple of times.

Beyond the fart jokes, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is certainly a family friendly movie that is hilarious and fun for all. It is hard to go wrong when the writers decided to combine the interactions between two of the most popular animals on the planet, cats and dogs.

Paws of Fury follows Hank, a hound, in his journey to become a Samurai. He travels to a town full of cats that need help where he is assigned as the defender. Hank begins his training and starts working to save the villagers who dislike him because he is a dog. The saying, “Never judge a book by it’s cover” is Paws of Fury’s motto. It is certainly a moral missing in much of society today as many are judged by the way the look. This simplistic film takes popular animals and attempts to tell a story that will connect with an audience on a different level so that all the viewers can learn not to judge by race, sex, or species. It is an important moral for our time and one worth sharing.

With the fart jokes, popular animals, and an important moral comes a crazy cast that includes Michael Cera, Samuel L. Jackson, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks and more! Basically we have a huge cast in a fun movie. Adults ill love to hear their beloved actors voice specific characters and the kids will simply enjoy the show.

I give Paw of Fury: The Legend of Hank 4 stars. While it has a great moral, the fart jokes get a bit old. For the audience that this film is meant for, I would say it will be fun to watch.

I received the opportunity to review the Bubble Guppies: Fin-tastic Fairy Tales! DVD and here is what I thought.

You will be pleased to note that Bubble Guppies is still the same family friendly show they have always been. Many of their episodes teach friendship, teamwork, and helping others. When Bubble Puppy is turned into a frog in Bubble Puppy’s Fin-tastic Fairy Tale, Molly and Gil team up and enlist the help of fairytale friends to help find a way to undo the evil curse. Fans watch as this teamwork leads to Bubble Puppy recovering and once again becoming his happy little puppy self. In Alison in Wonderland, fans learn the importance of friendship. The stories resonate with the preschool audience and they are fun and entertaining to watch.

This DVD also includes a fun crossover between (Baby Shark’s Big Show and The Bubble Guppies called The Jawsome Sharkventure! This first ever crossover in the Bubble Guppies series features Baby Shark and his Pilot Fish William, Baby Shark wants to go see his great great great (there may be another great in there somewhere) Uncle Slow Mo. With the help of Zooli and her friends, Baby Shark and William transverse the ocean. However, with a determined fisherman haunting the waters, the quest isn’t gonna be as easy as they hoped.
