For those that know the Baby Shark’s Big Show franchise, you will not be disappointed with this collection. Like many of the episodes, this rockin set continues to teach morals, such as friendship, encouragement, and being yourself, in bright stories’ featuring the beloved character, Baby Shark. Thanks to the featured episode, The Seaweed Sway, the audience is also encouraged to get up and dance to learn the Seaweed Sway or dance their own way.
Preschoolers will fall in love with the Seaweed Sway, taught to them by Baby Shark, William, and Cardi B voicing Sharki B. While the younger audience may not know who Cardi B is, I am sure the parents watching will get a kick out of the Rapper voicing a shark in a children’s TV series. I know I found it hilarious.

I received the chance to review the movie and here is what I thought.

As a minion fan, once the movie arrived at my door, I tore into the case and quickly put in the blu-ray to start the epic adventure. My family, of course, was not far behind me as popcorn sprayed from the kitchen, blankets fluttered to the floor, and stuffed Minion toys came out to enjoy the party. We all nearly held our breath as Illumination sprang across the screen. I knew we were all thinking, finally, another Minion movie.
Fans know the story of how Gru started as a villain in Despicable me, with the conquest of stealing the moon in order to become the ultimate bad guy. In the process Gru adopts 3 girls and his heart changes from evil to “mostly” good. However, before all that he was a kid in the 70s, looking to be the ultimate bad guy by joining the Vicious 6, When the Vicious 6, kick out Wild Knuckles, they are short a member and hold interviews for those looking to join their ranks. Gru takes a step onto his evil path and attempts to pass the interview process.
Things go from villainous to Minion-ous as a string of events unfold taking Gru and his banana loving Minions on an adventure so absurd that it can only be a Minions movie. After the failure of becoming a member of the Vicious 6, the minions lose a special stone making Gru the enemy of the Vicious 6. In order to help Gru, the Minions .
Many times through the movie popcorn was flying as laughter spewed from our lips. Minions The Rise of Gru did not disappoint when it came to hilarious antics by the Minions. When they learn of their super power with the Puppy Dog eyes, I almost fell out of my chair with laughter. Anyone who has or watches kids know, those puppy dog eyes are a deadly power when caught off guard.
Just look at those faces!
The Minions have way more than puppy dog eyes and a karate scene. Like other Minion movies in the past, the Minions will dawn funny costumes to try to blend into certain areas, that means, 70s attire. And somehow…they succeed. They will also have their bottom jokes and speak the worlds favorite language, Minionese. This combination leads to a wonderful movie with great characters and adorable Minions.
A word of warning for the younger audience. Minions: The Rise of Gru is rated PG due to violence, but what can be done? To be a villain often involves violence. Just know that going in.
Personally, I find this to be a brilliant Minions movie and I truly hope they make more. I give it 5 stars!

Like so many PAW Patrol shows, The Cat Pack Rescue episodes do not disappoint. The episodes are filled with team work, caring, problem solving, and of course our favorite pups. However, this time, kitten/cat fans will find a love for the show as a group of heroes called the Cat Pack rise to the occasion as they join forces to help rescue friends and prove that cats can be the good guys. I loved watching as the cats take center stage and work at proving that not all cats are crazy like those owned by Mayor Humdinger, the Kitten Catastrophe Crew.

My favorite episode of those included on the DVD has to be The Cat That Roared. Instead of having all the cats and maybe one or two pups from the PAW Patrol, two kittens actually team up with two pups to help save the day. It is equal screen time for both kittens (Leo and Rory) and pups (Marshall and Tracker), which leads to an amazing monkey rescue. With the help of Trackers cables, Marshall’s medical kit, Rory’s tiger pouncing skills, and Leo’s roar, the team works together and saves the monkey. It is awesome to see two teams, so different in looks, prove that anyone, no matter what they look like, can be heroes.

I got the chance to review Paws of Fury The Legend of Hank and here is what I thought. Possible spoilers below.
Get ready for the fart jokes in the new movie Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank. When it comes to funny, the writers have decided to go with the classics and bring about a litter of fart jokes including the igniting of farts and mentioning the smell of farts. For the little boys in the room, this will be funny to watch, however, the amount of fart jokes will get old with time. Some may bring a slight chuckle, but after a while, eyes will roll and the jokes just get less funny over time. But for the fart fans in the room, this will be fun to watch a couple of times.
Beyond the fart jokes, Paws of Fury: The Legend of Hank is certainly a family friendly movie that is hilarious and fun for all. It is hard to go wrong when the writers decided to combine the interactions between two of the most popular animals on the planet, cats and dogs.
Paws of Fury follows Hank, a hound, in his journey to become a Samurai. He travels to a town full of cats that need help where he is assigned as the defender. Hank begins his training and starts working to save the villagers who dislike him because he is a dog. The saying, “Never judge a book by it’s cover” is Paws of Fury’s motto. It is certainly a moral missing in much of society today as many are judged by the way the look. This simplistic film takes popular animals and attempts to tell a story that will connect with an audience on a different level so that all the viewers can learn not to judge by race, sex, or species. It is an important moral for our time and one worth sharing.
With the fart jokes, popular animals, and an important moral comes a crazy cast that includes Michael Cera, Samuel L. Jackson, Ricky Gervais, Mel Brooks and more! Basically we have a huge cast in a fun movie. Adults ill love to hear their beloved actors voice specific characters and the kids will simply enjoy the show.
I give Paw of Fury: The Legend of Hank 4 stars. While it has a great moral, the fart jokes get a bit old. For the audience that this film is meant for, I would say it will be fun to watch.

You will be pleased to note that Bubble Guppies is still the same family friendly show they have always been. Many of their episodes teach friendship, teamwork, and helping others. When Bubble Puppy is turned into a frog in Bubble Puppy’s Fin-tastic Fairy Tale, Molly and Gil team up and enlist the help of fairytale friends to help find a way to undo the evil curse. Fans watch as this teamwork leads to Bubble Puppy recovering and once again becoming his happy little puppy self. In Alison in Wonderland, fans learn the importance of friendship. The stories resonate with the preschool audience and they are fun and entertaining to watch.
This DVD also includes a fun crossover between (Baby Shark’s Big Show and The Bubble Guppies called The Jawsome Sharkventure! This first ever crossover in the Bubble Guppies series features Baby Shark and his Pilot Fish William, Baby Shark wants to go see his great great great (there may be another great in there somewhere) Uncle Slow Mo. With the help of Zooli and her friends, Baby Shark and William transverse the ocean. However, with a determined fisherman haunting the waters, the quest isn’t gonna be as easy as they hoped.

On July 12, Nickelodeon release their first volume of their brand new series, Rugrats, on DVD! Fans can now bring home the all new adventures of Tommy, Chucky, Phil, Lil, and their friends With several original voices coming to reprise their roles, such as Tommy voiced by Elizabeth Daily and Angelica voiced by Cheryl Chase, this DVD is something fans may love to bring home.
I received the chance to review this blast from the past and here is what I thought.
When the new Rugrats series started streaming on Paramount+, I wrote a review about the series. I was disturbed about what they did to Grandpa Lou and how the writers did a complete 180 on his character. It was heartbreaking to see one of my favorite characters change so much. The veteran that took no lip changed to a peace loving hippie. While that isn’t a bad thing, it just wasn’t Grandpa Lou. Sadly, this change is still a reason that I can’t fully get into the show. The past and the original Rugrats resonate louder than this remake.
However, remove the influence from the past and I am sure this series is a fun one for kids and adults alike, I will change my previous review about how boring the episodes tend to be because the series gets better with time. We get a lot of fun adventures, tasks, and weird scenarios that make the Rugrats fascinating, producing a huge fandom. For example, in The Perfect Myth, we enter the world of Greece as seen through the eyes of the Rugrats. We get the god of building stuff, the god of juice and even a god of tricks. Somehow, their weird imagination leads to being exiled to the None-der World and a struggle for perfection. In the end, we learn that striving to be perfect all the time is impossible and that less than perfect is ok.
Each episode from the Rugrats remake follow Nickelodeon’s theme of providing morals for kids to learn. Whether it is learning to share or learning to persevere when things get tough, each episode shares important life lessons.
