I love that the episodes share lessons of courage, confidence, working together, and faith. Each lesson is blended with wonderful puppy entertainment that most kids are sure to enjoy. Pound Puppies is entertainment for kids and the whole family as the Pound Puppies crusades help find perfect homes for all those entering the pound, whether they be old dogs or young pups.

To download and create the Certificate simply click the image below, save the PDF, print it and fill it out.

Create a frame for the certificate by cutting out a rectangle in some cardboard and have the kid decorate it. The Glue the certificate to the back side of the cardboard with the picture facing front. Makes a great activity. 😀

Cubeecrafts of Alien and Predator and a Free AvP Tic Tac Toe Printable

Today, while updating my DeiviantArt Page and viewing art by friends and followers, I found 3 very cool cubeecrafts that I thought were well worth the share.

In 2004 Alien Vs Predator was released on DVD. Placing two of the most feared creatures in outer-space against each other in a battle to the death. I had seen all of the Alien movies and all of the Predator movies, so this release was something I looked forward to. Had I been into Cosplay in 2004, I would have dressed up like Predator and saw the movie in style. However, the lack of costume did not take away from the epic battle between these two races.

Movie story:
During an archaeological expedition on Bouvetøya Island in Antarctica, a team of archaeologists and other scientists find themselves caught up in a battle between the two legends. Soon, the team realize that only one species can win.

It has been almost 10 years since the release of AvP and for me, it is still an epic movie. Which is why, when I found these cubeecrafts, I had to download them myself and share them. Below are two Predator Cubeecrafts made by Cyberdrone and an Alien Made by TaxisFlashDude. Feel free to download them, print and create them. They make awesome desk ornaments or paper toys. Be sure to visit the sites of those who created them and check out there other paper crafts and cubeecrafts.

As an added bonus, I have included my Alien Vs Predator Tic Tac Toe. Now you can perform your very own game of AvP. It works just like regular Tic Tac Toe. The first to get three in a row wins.

Print on Card stock
Cut out the board and pieces along the solid black lines
Play Rock, Paper Scissors to see who goes first
The first Player places a token on the board in one of the squares.
The second person goes next
The first to get three in a row, across or diagonal, wins.

Pixie Hallow Games Party Printables and Activities

With winter finally taking a step back and spring jumping forward we search for activities to do outside of the house. Sometimes that can be difficult but the Disney Movie Pixie Hallow Games gives us a perfect way to combine friends, fun and party all outdoors. As an added bonus these games also help strengthen friendship, teamwork and a “Can Do” attitude

The Movie is about “Tinker Bell and her fairy friends as they compete in Disney’s animated adventure, Pixie Hollow Games. Rosetta and new arrival Chloe band together to try to break the garden fairies’ legendary losing streak in this incredible sports spectacle filled with pixie pageantry, fantastic fairy events and hilarious surprises. Clank and Bobble call the action as Rosetta and Chloe face off against the storm fairies, Rumble and Glimmer, who are vying for their fifth championship ring.”

Like the Movie We can throw our own Pixie Hallow Games by printing out the activities below and a little planning. They are free to download, print and create.

Planning:
First send out the invitations. Make sure all the players know when and where the games will be held.

Print out the fitness Guides. These are games by each type of Fairy. Instructions are included in each PDF. Collect all the items needed for the games. Have dedicated spaces for each event with an area around the yard for the fans to stand and watch. There are 6 PDFs with two games each so you will need 12 spots for the games.
Have the kids compete in these games to earn Trading cards, certificates, stickers, Friendship Bracelets, Headbands, or rings (see free printables). A large Poster Board with everyone’s names written on it can be used to keep track of the wins.

Give each player a goodie bag with a pair of goggles, Spirit Fingers and playbook so that they can look the part of a player and root for their favorite player. The Play Book includes small activities such as mazes, match the fairy to the flag and a word search.

The Silly Spinner and the Leapfrogging kit make great side games in between the larger activities.

After the activities, be sure to plan some down time. Provide drinks snacks and maybe watch the Movie Pixie Hollow Games.

Winx Club Printable Masks, Paper Dolls and Coloring Pages

After I had received several requests to post some Winx Club printables, I spent the last two weeks watching seasons 1-5 and the 9 episodes of season 6 that have been released. Obviously I couldn’t stop watching and never wanted to go to bed. In fact, there were several sleepless nights of me watching the winx fairies save the magical realms from evil. In each of their missions, the Winx learn what it means to be a friend, the power of believing in yourself, the strength of courage, and the importance of trust. .

I enjoyed watching this tv series so much, that I have continued my search for some fun printables. I keep an eye for anything new from Winxclub.com and I check new sites each day to see if there is anything worth posting.

Cubeecraft of Jeremie Belpois from Code Lyoko

Jeremie is a member of the Lyoko Warriors, a team bent on defeating an artificial intelligence known as Xana who wants to destroy the world. Jeremie and his friends Odd, Yumi, Ulrich and Aelita fight Xana in a world known as Lyoko, a computer program where Towers are activated and deactivated that affect the outside world in different ways. The show often depicts the struggles Jeremie and the other characters have in balancing their lives verses their virtual lives.

Jeremie is the geek/nerd of the group. He seems to have infinite knowledge when it comes to the world of computers and is, at first, the only one able to send his friends to Lyoko. Without Jeremie, the Lyoko Warriors would never have existed.

~~Jeremy (Jeremie) Belpois is what you might call :an endearing nerd.” He’s a techie whiz, living in a world of process and equations. As a top-of-the-class genius, he is quite articulate when it comes to computer-related subjects, but often stumbles over his words when it comes to girls.

~~As the only one who can work the super computer, he never goes to Lyoko (but once or twice). But he stays in contact wit the virtual world through Aelita. He seeks to pull her from X.A.N.A.’s grasp and to discover the secret of her past.

CUBEECRAFT:
Materials needed:
Printer
Card stock
scissors
x-acto knife

To make:

Cut out each item along the outer black lines.
Cut along the white on each tab using the x-acto knife
Cut along each red line using the x-acto knife
Cut along the top hair using an x-acto knife. This will allow it to remain straight and not bend when you fold the cubeecraft. See the 3d image for assistance
Fold along each inner solid black line and slide each tab into the slots created with an x-acto knife to form a cube of the head, body, arms, and feet
Slide the arms through the red slots on either side of the body.
Slide the feet through the red slots at the base of the body.
Slide the now completed body through the red lots of the head.

Free Disney St. Patrick’s Day Printables and Activities

March 17th is the day that I pray I always remember to wear green. There was a year that St. Patrick’s Day completely slipped my mind. Boy was I sorry. Every time I turned around I was being pinched. From then on, I have that date highlighted, circled and arrows pointing to the date on my calendar. Must…Not…Forget.

To help myself remember, I also add a few decorations around the house. That way St. Patrick’s Day is constantly in my face and on my mind (no more pinches for me). Disney provides a few paper crafts that are awesome to print, create and display. Everyone needs a Mickey standing next to a pot of gold somewhere in their house for St. Patrick’s Day.

What better way to distract them from pinching every person who lacks green somewhere on their body? Pull out a color sheet, give them a green crayon, a let the fun begin. Disney’s Maleficent Free Printables, crafts and coloring pages

On May 30th, 2014 We will get to see Angelina Jolie portray Maleficent in Disney’s new movie Maleficent. While there haven’t been any releases for fun printables or activities featuring the cast of this new movie (yet), I am still overly excited to see it. I can’t wait for Maleficent to hit the big screen and see the story of how one of the most evil villains from my childhood became her evil self.

I am sure many others are in the same boat as we await information on this film and the freebies that come with it. While We wait, I have collected a few printables and crafts that should help with out anxiety. Below are several printables featuring the evil sorceress, Maleficent. Some of the coloring pages even feature Angelina herself.

Once there is more info and more Disney printables on this movie, I will create a blog for that feature.

Get Square with Simon Pegg and Nick Frost in the Film “The Boxtrolls”

I think What I am most excited about is that fact that the movie will be featuring the voices of Simon Pegg (Star Trek) and Nick Frost (The Adventures of Tintin). They are probably the two most epic geeks in the movie industry. They certainly do not hide the fact that they love several different fandoms, including Star Trek and Star Wars. I am sure they will do fantastic when it comes to their voice-over rolls by bringing their characters to life. September 26th can’t come fast enough. 😀

While the date seems so far away, “The Boxtrolls” facebook page has released a couple of printables to help ease the anxiety.

~The first printable is a Valentine’s day Shoe box mail box. Print out the head, top and the 4 sides to make an awesome display. The cool part is, just print page 3 twice and use the side without the Valentine’s day logo, and you can make this mailbox for any time of the year.

~The second Printable is a Holiday Treat box for Candy Canes or other sweets. It isn’t Christmas anymore but I am sure with just a little effort and the paint program you can change the candy cane image to any image you wish.

~The Third Printable is a fun little Haumatrope. Take a pen, pencil, or stick and glue the circles back to back with the pen, pencil or stick up the middle inside. When it is dry quickly twist the stick back and forth in the palm of your hands. A Boxtroll will appear.

Story:

Walking With Dinosaurs $3.00 Rebate and Printables
